This product does a pretty good job at what it claims to do. It has a very light masculine fragrance and it will linger around the hair until the product is washed out. The styling ability depends on the amount used. The pomade has a creamy consistency. If you use just enough to coat the finger tips it will keep the hair from looking frizzled, or use more to make each hair stand move exactly where you want it. The downside of using more is your hair will have a thicker residue. The jar labeling claims there's no residue but let's be real: You're basically putting Vaseline in your hair. There's going to be residue. With the included 8 jars this will last a long time.

I bought this product for my husband to try and he has been dragging his feet about it since he loves the old spice medium hold paste. Today he finally tried it and told me it may actually be better than the old spice! My husband has very thin, fine hair that he sort of combs over and poofs to make his scalp look fuller. This product is decently thick, but not so much so that you have to thin with water. It is workable and holds well without giving a high gloss shine. My husband actually said he sort of likes it better than the Old Spice product, so I’d call this one a success.

I got this for my husband who has full, thick hair. It smells and feels good, but apparently it doesn't have the strength to hold thick, full hair: his assessment was "weak." So, unfortunately, I can't recommend it.(note--he is not wearing it in this pic, the pic is so you can see the type of hair for which this doesn't work)

This is a nice styling product for people with shorter hair. It does have a scent it is not unscented as it states. It has a pleasant men's fragrance to it. It is not strong, but it is a nice cologne type scent. There are many in this pack and this should definitely stock your supply for quite a bit. I don't really care for this container though, it is very plastic and not a sturdy plastic it is on the flimsier side. The product itself is good though. It washes off easily and doesn't get greasy. It holds well and I would say this is probably a lighter hold. If you have thicker or longer hair it may not be the right product for you. Great for short hair and it does slick it back or makes it have more definition. Gives a sheen to hair as well and helps with any kind of flyaways.

I have long hair, but one of the sides of my hair needed to grow a little bit extra which has been leaving it at an awkward length. This pomade helped me get past that awkward stage and keeping my hair nice and tidy.

This pomade has a nice texture that makes it easy to spread and apply. It’s described as a medium hold and that’s exactly what it is, your hair isn’t stiff and rigid, but it’s not going to move around on you either. The high shine makes your hair look darker/wet all day. The scent is subtle but reminds me of a barber shop.Next time I’ll probably go low shine, but this is a good product.

This lightweight pomade smells subtly like men's cologne. It gets stronger smelling on my hair so I smell like I am wearing men's cologne - and I am a woman. But my husband really likes the smell and the results he gets when he uses this. It's not sticky at all and doesn't give him a greasy head of hair. It is light and just holds his hair in place gently. It isn't made for extreme styles but to just give the hair a lightweight hold which is all my husband wants. It can be applied on damp hair and also on dry hair. A little is all that is needed. It washes out well. I like it myself for lightweight hold but the scent is not my favorite. I see no reason why hair products have to have "gender" scents. In all, this pomade is good for people who want light hold with no residue and no stickiness. I got a box of eight tubs! I am giving both sons and my brother in law one and my husband is keeping the rest.
