Awesome notebook
I love this notebook! I ordered it for work so that I didn’t have tons of notepads all floating around. The page size is great- I take a lot of notes so I needed something large. The paper is thick and clearly high quality. There’s no ink bleed through. The back pocket is really handy for business cards.I love that this notebook has a little pen holder slot. I also like the page marker ribbon. A lot of times with notebooks like this, the page marker ribbon begins to unravel at the ends. Not the case with this one!The whale on the cover is subtle so the notebook still looks professional. The binding is sturdy.I would definitely recommend this notebook. My only criticism is that I wish there were even more colors to choose from- I’d love to see the collection expanded to brightly colored notebooks.Once I fill this notebook up, I will be purchasing another.

Expensive but Perfect
This is definitely the most expensive notebook I have ever purchased. It is also the nicest notebook that I have ever purchased. The covers are firm and stronger than I was expecting which is 100% a plus; it appears to be some sort of cardboard with leather covering it. The binding lays flat when you open it which is something I always look for in notebooks. It is college ruled and larger than your normal full size notebook, both of which were pluses for me as well. Everything appears well made and exceptionally sturdy, including the pen holder and elastic band. The design is also really appealing to me; simple with clean lines but it also has character. The color is possibly a few shades darker than pictured but it doesn't significantly change the aesthetic, this variation could also be from the brightness level of my screen so take that into consideration if you are concerned by that. I'm not sure that this will ever become my go-to note book because of the cost, frankly this was a splurge meant to help entice me back into taking hand written notes, but the quality is absolutely what you would expect with the price and I intend to get lots of usage from it. If I did purchase this again I would purchase one with dots rather than lines to use for bullet journaling.I would not purchase this for a child or even a teen unless they are an avid writer or journal-er. I would not purchase this if you intend to use it for a single class or semester. I would not purchase this without a intended purpose.I would recommend the unlined or dotted versions for bullet journaling. I would recommend this for long term note taking or for a larger project. I would recommend this if you like to journal in large or full size books. I would recommend this for writing collections lyrics, poetry, etc.

Beautiful journal
It was a great purchase even though this journal cost more than another one I bought from another seller. This one,A4 size, is also a little bigger than the other one. It has a beautiful grey color (not exactly how it shows on my photos due to indoor light) with an elephant on the hard cover. I like the texture of the cover and the quality of the paper as well as the packet on the back. I would highly recommend it.

Look No Further For Your Next Journal!
I have been obsessed with finding the perfect journal and in the process, have tried many different journals. This Dingbats lined notebook is the BEST journal out there! It has everything I look for in a good notebook, and the quality craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I love the thick, off-white paper which makes writing with dark gel ink look glossy and crisp. The perforation of every page is so rare to find in a journal, and here, the pages perforate cleanly without tearing. The PU leather cover is pleasant to hold, features a cute animal on the front cover, and looks professional and expensive. I love that this notebook is vegan-certified and that the brand donates to the WFC! Overall, this notebook offers a great value and will not leave you disappointed. A must buy! I have turned my entire family onto Dingbats notebooks, and I have bought and will continue to buy these journals for as long as they are available!

Love, Love, Love
Absolutely beautiful, high quality, and fun. I have purchased many of these in different colors and sizes for myself and for gifts and have heard nothing but good things in return. Love these notebooks. :D

Fantastic notebook and company
This is definitely now my go-to for bullet journaling. It's a bit bigger than a traditional notebook, which gives plenty of room for any desired layout without being oversized. There are 38 dots across the page and 53 down. Each dot is half a centimeter so I'm able to use a ruler to quickly mark divisions. The materials are vegan and I love the feel of the paper as it dries ink quickly so that it doesn't smudge (I'm just using G2 pens). There's minimal bleed-through when writing on both sides of a page, I don't find it distracting like I do with other brands that use thinner stock. The elastic closure, pen holder, and back pocket are nice features, and I love the wildlife style. The pages are all perforated which isn't a feature I really need, but I know some people like having perforations available. I initially had some trouble with the perforations wearing down in my medium-sized notebook from Dingbats. What I've learned is that it helps to go through the whole journal when you first get it and turn every so-many pages and gently press along the length of the centerline. This ensures that the pages will fold from the binding when you turn them rather than starting to fold along the perforations and weaken over time. Invisible tape or washi tape are also helpful for reinforcing the ends of the perforations so they can't start tearing. As for the company, Dingbats customer service has really impressed me. They jumped right in to help when I had trouble with the first notebook, and as a result I'm sure I'll be using their products for many years to come.

Fantastic Product
Product was fantastic and loved the perforated pages (bonus). Loved the minimalist packaging for delivery... however my book arrived damaged in transit with a large scar across the back of the journal. It's still functional so I didn't send it back.

A4 size is such a bonus, and this is easily the most beautiful notebook I've ever owned
The paper is such a beautiful shade of ivory. There are notebooks with thicker paper out there, but this one meets my needs perfectly: I use it for writing rather than drawing. If you need something for water colours and more serious sketching and drawing etc, you should look for 150 or 160 gsm. For writing,100 gsm is perfection, not too thick not too thin. I also intend to use this notebook for my Japanese hiragana katakana and kanji exercises, it is great for ink pens, various ballpoint pens, and fude style calligraphy pens. The dots are just perfect for structure, but not too much structure. No bleeding! I saw some reviewers complaining that this notebook isn't sturdy enough which makes me wonder, did they stick it underneath a frying pan or did they subject it to some other kind of rough treatment perhaps? I generally look after my stuff well, and this notebook looks like it was made to last, and feels gorgeous to handle. The dark green cover is classy, reminds me of nature and woodlands, it's a very stylish shade of dark green, feels kind of grounding. I love the fact that this notebook is A4 size, I like a lot of space for my handwritten notes. The paper is such a beautiful shade of ivory, and feels silky and luxurious to the touch, a wonderfully tactile experience. Some other hard cover notebooks feel clunky - not this one. I tried using a 160gsm notebook, and although nice, that one's pages were simply too thick. In the past I used moleskine and paipur notebooks, this one is so much nicer. The way the cover is finished with a stitching, and the rounded corners - looks very classy, old-school kind of stylish. The cover feels strong while not being too thick. Perforation of all pages is an added bonus. I'm glad this notebook isn't numbered, if someone needs numbers and index pages, surely those would be easy to add manually. I intend to use this notebook for loose and lofty kind of doodling of random thoughts and ideas, the occasional bullet-style list, perhaps a little line drawing on the side. Occasionally I cut out pictures from fashion magazines and glue these on the pages of my notebooks, with my personal comments on the side, a bit like a scrapbook. Bullet journaling stencils are fun also - with enough space remaining for writing, without things getting cramped. The A4 format will lend itself for scrapbooking or stencilling purposes perfectly, there will be loads of space for notes and comments on the side of the fashion pics. Two A4 pages side by side is a wonderful space to play with, I like to create thought bubbles connected with lines, and arrows leading to the next bubble. It’s a great book if you need to plan events for a story - there is space for event-idea-thought bubbles, mindmapping-style. Very glad I ordered this book, and dark green is one of my favourite colours, very pleased. If this one has been on your list for a while, go on, order it now :D And there is a pen loop and elastic closure, loving it. Class act.
