Cut loose and free.
Worked great on thinner mat"l...Tried it on a thick rug, it cut for a short time...the rug was to thick for it to cut thru. JLMaching

Multiple layers of cutting
These are nothing like i needed. I made a mistake and ordered 2 and only needed 1 but this is for a company that has multiple layers yo cut. I have had these for a couple of years and never used them.

Excellent choice of cutters and the company is phenominal to work with.
The customer service with this company is fantastic and I give them 10 stars! I suffer from arthritis and these cutters allow me to continue my love of working with thick materials. I volunteer for Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County cat rescue and make thousands of post surgical pads that provide clean and comfortable bedding for felines after their spay and neuter procedures. I could not continue this passion without these cutters. And any issue at all with the product and the company is right there to help me through it. I give them 10 STARS!!!

Quality not to good
I brought several in the past and have to return them because the on and off knob keeps getting stuck in

Cuts very well
The first thing I cut was 1/4" neoprene with some very tough fabric covering both front and back. Very difficult to cut with scissors. The Electric Fabric cutter went right through it as fast as I could go. It cut some 1/2" automotive carpet underlayment that I can been struggling to cut. Again no issue with this tool. It came with instructions and safety advise. There is no trigger lockout the keep you from accidently activating the motor/blade. However that makes it very easy and quick to use and is no different that many power tools.

Love the fact that it makes cutting so much faster. Even when cutting out a small keyhole, it is VERY precise. If cutting something fluffy (like flannelette) make sure you carefully clean out the fluff afterwards. It can get lodged in the small crevices. Otherwise, an excellent buy!
