For Whole Body Care
Comprehensive supplement that treats the whole body, not just kidney care. Contains probiotics, prebiotics, potassium, niacin, Omega-3’s and more, all in a supplement that absorbs easily into your body because of the delayed release capsules. The supplements are good for a 2-month supply by taking 1 per day of the Kidney Restore and 2 per day of the Kidney Shield. You can go up higher by taking 3 per day of the Kidney Restore and 4 per day of the Kidney Shield but your supply will be exhausted more quickly.Depending on your needs, this may be a good and even cheaper supplement for full body health that replaces other supplements you are already taking. If not, this can be an expensive supplement and you’ll need to determine if the cost is worth the benefits. For myself, the supplements did not cause any negative side effects such as upset stomach, burping, heartburn, nausea, etc. I have not noticed much of a difference for its advertised effects but appreciate all of the added ingredients for full body care.

Good kidney capsules
I like the fact that it comes with 4 bottles , I like that kidney restore comes with 60 soft gels and kidney shield comes with 120 soft gels, you can take the pills easily and with no after taste of any sort , I had a small pain on the left side near the kidney , started taking the pills and the pain went away , but I don’t attribute to kidney problem , over all makes you go to the restroom normal and doesn’t hurt your stomach, the only thing I didn’t like is that suggested use is kidney restore 1-3 pills a day and kidney shield 2-4 pills a day but you can do 2 if you want on both that’s what I did .

Haven't Noticed a Change, but No Negative Side Effects. Seems Very Overpriced.
I have tried both the Kidney Restore and Kidney Shield now. I am not a doctor and can not give you advice on whether or not you should be taking this product. If you'd like to know the benefits of either of these, I highly recommend researching the company and primary ingredients and then consulting with your primary care physician. Every body is different and what helps some may not help others.Personally, I have not noticed any significant changes while taking either of these products. That being said, I didn't expect it to change my life and was simply adding it to my January body cleanse. Both capsules are easy to take, and neither gave me stomach or intestinal cramps. The fish oil definitely has a fishy taste, so if you are prone to burping after taking omega supplements just prepare accordingly.Again, whether or not this product is right for you depends on your body and expected results. I don't think this is a bad supplement to help clear and protect your kidneys, though you probably won't see mind-boggling results. I DO feel that the price is ridiculously high ($99 at the time of this review), it is much cheaper to get an omega fish oil supplement and pre/probiotic blend.

A terrible attempt at mimicking a much better product offered elsewhere
I KNEW I made a mistake ordering this item when I discovered where it was made and what the ingredients were. This item was SUGGESTED to me, based on another product I use regularly to keep my kidneys running top notch. THIS item is full of nothing but loads of fish oil and OTHER over the counter items which have not been proven at ALL to keep kidneys clean and running efficiently. I would steer clear of this item. Once I read the ingredients, I threw out the product.

Made me nauseous
I like the ingredients included and was excited to add this kidney vitamin to my health regimen. Unfortunately, the pills make me feel nauseous, even if I eat beforehand.

Great value
I have some issues with my kidneys, so I need good support for them. Of course everyone knows about cranberry juice, but I have to find something a little more supportive just for extra assurance. This set of supplements is a great deal for the price, with 4 bottles for the price of 1. They have a lot of good ingredients, so I feel confident taking them on a daily basis.

Great formula. Good value. A few concerns about the fish oil
These are really good ingredients to have, and it's a great concept. Considering all the ingredients you get in this kit, it's really a pretty good value. This is a really mega dose of probiotics. Don't be surprised if your body does some "flushing" the first few days you're on this. I take probiotics regularly so I'm already acclimated, but if you're new to probiotics just know that it's normal for your body to flush a lot of things out at first. In the past, one strategy I've used is to open up the veg cap, and empty half of it into a yogurt, cereal, or smoothie, etc, and save the rest for later. The niacin has a little bitterness to it, but the rest of it just tastes like powdered milk, and it blends into food or shakes just fine. For me, the niacin goes down without getting flush at all. The fish oil one goes down pretty good, I do get a couple small fish burps. They add just a hint of rosemary and lemon to help cover up any fishy smell in the bottle, and to prevent any fishy taste going down. But they don't add very much, it's a pretty neutral taste.I have concerns about the fish oil - not just this brand, but fish oil in general. They obviously know a lot about kidney health, and know that fish oil (in theory) has many advantages. But I'm really really picky about what kind of fish oil I take, because consumer testing groups routinely find impurities, low potency, rancidity, and other problems, even in high end fish oils. This brand uses a method called molecular distillation, which is a common method among the more established brands. When you go into a whole foods type place, most of the brands in there will have used this method. The practice of distillation gets rid of most of the bad stuff, but is still not without controversy. Also, not all distillation processes are the same, and unfortunately, after reading through all their literature, I'm still not sure which process is used. Further, the bioavailability of fish oil (ability to absorb the important parts, the DHA etc) depends on its molecular shape. Unfortunately, the distillation process alters the natural structure, and in some cases, converts the oil into synthetic triglycerides. So after these bottles, I may stick with the Kidney Restore bottle, depending on how it goes, but I'll probably go back to my normal fish oil instead of the Kidney Shield.A final note - Healthy Kidney Inc has a very useful blog for those dealing with kidney issues. I highly recommend checking it out, maybe printing articles of concern and taking to your doctor. They even have advice for pets.
