My family is a barbecue lover and it feels so good to serve them the best and the yummiest. This book has a lot of help; now I know all about buying the right smoker and how to use it, as well as how to choose the right cuts to smoke. Mastering the art of smoking meat is so fun and I feel like a real chef. I never thought that I could learn this much. Moreover, this book also has 25 barbecue recipes to complete everything. This is a great one; another perfect mate in my backyard barbecue picnic.

Pit Master, the BBq book is an excellent introduction into the art of cooking meats, such as ribs, marinades, coatings and smoked meats. You definitely need to grab this book if you want to impress your friends with your BBQ skills on the weekend. The content is comprehensive and very clearly and concisely laid out with many pictures included. Great book!

This book is the ultimate guide to BBQ! Love how it explains all the different qualities of meats, smokers and even wood types used in smoking. As the summer is about to come in a few months, now's a great time to teach myself about proper smoking techniques. As a bonus, I enjoyed the recipes included in this book, especially the sauces, to bring flavor to my BBQ duties.

I was looking for a great book for beginners, how to prepare meat to be smoked and how to preseason the smoker.This book only had a few things that are beneficial. It was hard to pay attention to what I was learning though due to all of the grammatical errors. I'm not normally a stickler for proper grammar but this book was so bad i don't even know how it was published.

I was led to believe this would start me out on mastering how to smoke food as a beginner but it does nothing of the sort. It's just another recipe book and nothing more.

This book is fantastic starts with the basics and the progresses. I am new to smoking and bbq so was a little unsure what to do after reading this I was happy to proceed and get my cook on. The only issue is that there are so many tasty recipe and ideas am gonna b size of a house by end o summer. This is my new bible

Some good tips in this book, however it's nothing you couldn't get from a basic Internet search. The presentation is very poor too, the quality is equivalent to a early 90s football fanzine.
