A handy item that I wish I had bought sooner
It is actually very good and very handy for checking what how much power is being used.

Could not get it to work with a Pi
Loved the fact that it was small and discreet. Tested Under Windows and worked flawlessly. Spent the next 2 hours trying to get it working on a Pi and no joy.I did buy another brand, plugged into Windows worked fine, plugged into Pi and worked straight away.Yes I followed the instructions, I have multiple RS485 devices that can receive and send data, but it just did not want to send anything on the 485 bus.Sure it is a good product as I have quite a few items from DSD Tech and they work perfectly.

Useful converter
Does exactly what it says ..

Simply works.
Bought this to connect a victron et112 meter to raspberry pi running venus os. Connected via a ethernet cable....it just worked.... It's now measuring my grid power usage.

Simple to use. Works a treat

Does exactly what it says on the label
Works really well, with automatic data enable switching. Uses Silabs CP2102 USB/serial chip, which seems more reliable t than Prolific chips.

Easy to setup and use
Compact interface with handy screw-based connector strip. Used it to poll a couple of RS485 temperature controllers. Very pleased, thanks
