I got this LED Driver as I have 6 LED lights in my kitchen running from an old Halogen Transformer. One particular light always seems to fail before the others, so I thought this more modern LED Transformer would rectify that. The Driver came in a neat letterbox friendly cardboard box with a basic User Manual. It seems to be well manufactured. For testing, I started with a single Enshine branded 5W MR16 light wired to the driver. The single one worked fine on it's own. The fun started when I tried to parallel wire an identical 2nd Enshine light to the driver. Both lights blinked intermittently but wouldn't stay on. I tried another, better quality brand (Eterbiz) and they worked fine as a parallel wired pair, giving equal amounts of brightness with no flicker. Lesson learnt...don't use substandard lights... The 12V output connections are quite fiddly, it would be best to run a single wire out from each of the two terminals to a pair of splicing connectors of the Wago type with the right number of connections (Lamp Count + 1). The Terminal covers are good and they secure both the input and output cabling well. The product description for this driver says that it's good for 30W. This suited me fine as I wanted to run 6 x 5W lamps = 30W. Sounded simple enough. It wasn't until reading the manual that I learnt that I shouldn't run the driver at any more than 80% load, i.e. 24W, if I wanted the driver to perform at its best and have a longer lifespan. Googling such things led to the finding that it's common to adhere to the 80% restriction. Personally, I think it's misleading and that the manufacturers should make the things with that 20% headroom built in. That way, if you buy a '30W driver' it will run 30 Watts' worth of lamps at 80% load but in reality be 36W max load. Does exactly what it says ... easy to fit and works well!

This item has been installed for only 5-6 days but so far working great and no pulsing/ flashing on the output.

I ordered this to use in my kitchen. I recently switched out the Halogen Bulbs in my Downlighters for LED ones because they are more economical and give out better light. Now some of them flicker a little, and this tiny transformer solved the problem. My LED Downlighter Bulbs only use 1.2 Watts each, and there are six of them, so 7.2 Watts in total. I ordered the 30-watt version which is plenty and leaves me spare power in case I want to add more lighting later, plus it means I'm not over-driving the transformer, so it should last longer. It's compact, which is good, since I had to fit this above my cabinets, in the gap between the top of the cupboards and the ceiling, I assume this set-up is common. It was easy to install, the biggest issue was connecting all the downlight wires to the outputs on the transformer, but using some little connector blocks made it fairly easy. I didn't need to fix it down, it just lays on top of the cupboards at the back. Now my lights don't flicker, success! This was a pretty easy fix and didn't cost much, and the small size helped since I was fitting it in the narrow space above my cupboards, great.

This described as a 30W LED driver, yet the instructions same don't use for more than 80% rating - ie 24W - So why not call them 24W drivers! Otherwise OK.

I am so glad to receive this much needed item. It is a transformer which gives 12 volts out (15 watts 1.25Amp max) from standard mains 240v AC in. One advantage is it gives off no interference to Radios and TVs and is over temperature protected. Being 15 watts it understandably can't be used with constant current lamps and halogen lamps, but is designed for very efficient bulbs using LEDs, for example G4, MR11 MR16 GU5 LED strips, cabinet lights or general 12V DC LED lights, and is IP44 rated so will be fine in slightly damp locations. The one I ordered was a 15watt version, and they are also available in 30watts and 60watts. Please see images that I have included. As mentioned they have loads of uses, the main use (for me), was to place one in our attic, which then powers the LED lights in the bathroom below. The Bathroom LED lights are accessible from the attic above. (The images will show various stages of replacing the new DUSKTEC 12V LED Driver Transformer in place of the old broken device)

Does seem to buzz under some circumstances but not others. I have 3 of these installed and one of them buzzes when on

Sehr handlicher Trafo. Ich habe ihn noch Umstellung auf LED Lampen verbaut, um das leichte Flackern der Lampen zu beseitigen. Das funktioniert hervorragend. Der Anschluss ist simpel. Allerdings gibt es keine Anleitung. Der gelieferte „Begleitzettel“ in x Sprachen beschäftigt sich nur mit Sicherheitshinweisen und ist somit unbrauchbar. Insoweit sollte man wenigstens über Grundkenntnisse in Sachen Elektrik verfügen.Aber bei Bauteilen, die in Fernost hergestellt werden, darf man generell keine brauchbare Anleitung erwarten. Daher habe ich auch mit nichts gerechnet

Utilisé pour alimenter trois spots 12 V dans une salle de bain. Fonctionne parfaitement du premier coup. Un très léger temps de latence à l’allumage de 2 à 3/10 de secondes, absolument pas gênant.

Das Teil funktioniert. Allerdings, da ich mehrere Kreise mit mehreren Trafos an einer Beleuchtung habe, muss ich sagen: dieser Trafo ist der langsamste. Die angeschlossenen LED Strahler gehen als letzte an. Das fällt aber nur auf, weil das bei uns so betrieben wird.
