LOWENERGIE 6A illuminated timer switch rundown time lag energy saving, 12sec-12min adjustable 2 Wire

Bought this switch to fit in food store, pantry, as nearly everyone was forgetting to switch off light after use. I wired this switch in series with the existing switch which was located outside of the pantry. Timer switch I fitted just inside the pantry. Switch outside the pantry can be left on or can be switched off if shorter light time is required. I set my switch to just over 2 minutes.. It took quite a few attempts to get the timer setting that I wanted. The control knob is very sensitive if a low time is required, however the timer is easier to set if a longer “on” time is required, 12 minutes being the maximum. Switch is illuminated when in the “off” mode which makes it very easy to locate in a dark environment. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, the quality is good enough for the job intended and the switch fits into a standard light switch pattress. If you are prepared to be patient with adjusting the timer I would recommend this item.

Great product, easy to fit , great value Just a bit fiddly to get the time you want , but overall it’s a great product and used daily with no issues

I bought this but ended up sending it back. It was so simple to fit and easy to set up BUT, when the switch is "off", the bulb remains very dinpy lit so it will constantly drain power while fitted. I tried it with an LED and CFL lamps and they both had the same issue. So I returned this switch; it's not fit for my purpose. Quality was good and it's main function was good.

simple to instal even though you're meant to be a qualified electrician to do this (these days) steps are turn on the light go to fuse box and turn off lighting circuit - check light is now off remove screws undo the two cables (unless you have a two way in which case it's three) (I didn't) now put the new switch on doing the same in reverse set timer (12 secs to 12 mins) I set mine to 12 mins fully on now I have a super switch which is back lit and got rid of the problem of leaving the light on in a loo that's rarely used

Iv bought a number of these they where ideal for a bathroom switch when swith was outside bathroom or washroom lights, but Unfortunatly they have updated this product in the last year they have improved the switch action but they have shortened the timer from 29min down to 6 min making the switch all but usless and now not fit for perpose, I can no longer recommend anyone buys this Untill they lengthen the on time to at least 20 min or longer

Used this for the cellar light as it was frequently being left swicthed on, especially overnight! This switch was fitted in place of the standard 2-wire switch and, as we have low energy lights in the cellar with a T8 fluorescent tube and a small LED 'tube' light, the supplied 4uf power factor correction capacitor was also fitted. It all worked fine, however the LED light now emits a horrible buzzing. It does make me think it's now being stressed in some way and will eventually fail. The other problem is the capacitor. It's huge and won't fit in either light fitting so is currently attached outside of the LED light. Not ideal but just about acceptable in the cellar. Likewise with the buzzing, you wouldn't want the noise in a living room but it's acceptable in the cellar. After a few day's use it's apparent that the push button switch itself is none too good either. It's sloppy in its housing and really needs a heavy conscious press to get the light on, certainly not a casual tap that i was hoping for. And another negative is that the timer is not re-triggerable, that is, if you're on the 12minute setting and someone presses the switch, in our case to pop down the cellar, and then someone else needs to go down 10 minutes later even if they press the switch again they'll still left in darkness after the remaining 2 minutes on the timer!! Summary - it does work (for now at least) but it's far from ideal with too many drawbacks, so I'm probably being generous with three stars! I can see myself looking for a different switch before too long.

Good value for money

Have fitted it to the downstairs toilet light which was always being left on. Bit fiddly to set the timer but just a case of small adjustments at a time. I found 2 minutes was perfect

Installé dans la chambre de ma fille qui allumait sans cesse sa lumière avant de s'endormir m'obligeant la nuit à revenir fermer la lumière. Après l'achat d'une veilleuse et la mise en place de l'interrupteur, ma fille s'endort tranquillement et la lumière s'éteint automatiquement. On peut régler la minuterie. Je l'ai mis au maximum pour me permettre de la coucher tranquillement sans avoir a appuyer de nouveau sur l'interrupteur. Depuis sa mise en place, ma fille ne joue plus avec la lumière et je n'ai plus besoin de revenir l'éteindre.

No lo puede instalar cualquiera, creo yo

Prix très bas pour cet interrupteur (2 fois moins cher que le modèle Legrand), très facile à poser (2 fils) mais la molette de variation de temps d'éclairage (10'' à 12'30") n'est pas graduée de sorte que pour trouver le temps qui vous intéresse, vous devez faire plusieurs tests d'éclairage, ça prend du temps...

Fácil de instalar, la única pega es q para ajustar el tiempo el potenciometro está dentro, una vez lo instalas no puedes manipularlo y vez activado el pulsador si vuelves a pulsarlo no actúa.

Me ha gustado el producto por su precio competitivo, su fácil instalación (en mi caso mi vecino del cuarto que es un manitas) y lo útil y funcional que puede lleegar a ser. En definitiva, lo recomiendo de todas todas.
