The stepped, accordion design affords great setup flexibility, and I like that there are tie-down elastics included to keep the hose on the support. Packs up small and the retention strap makes it easy to stow away.- Quality (4/5): Metal pins at hinge points . Do need to be careful when adjusting the plastic-pin accordion steps, as these can break off easily if the user is not careful.- Value (4/5): Priced slightly below the average price for similar products on the market. Although the gloves aren’t good for sanitary protection, they are a nice piece of add-on swag. Good value.BOTTOM LINE (17/20): Excellent product, good price. Buy it.

One aspect I particularly appreciate about this sewer hose support is its elevated "walls," which effectively keep the sewer hose securely in place. This feature prevents the hose from dislodging, especially when subjected to a significant flow that might tempt it to expand and leap off the support. The only sewer hoses I use are the distinctive black hoses with orange ends that collapse/expand and usually stay put unless hit with enough pressure to cause the collapsed areas to distend. The inclusion of bands adds an extra layer of security, ensuring the hose stays firmly on the support, a practical measure, for instance, during windy conditions. If further fastening is needed, zip ties or small bungee cords can be easily employed.A notable advantage of this sewer support is the strap with buckle to ensure the sewer support remains collapsed for storage, a marked improvement over the plastic handle commonly found on other brands which can break after repeated use. This design choice enhances convenience and durability.However, a drawback emerged after a few uses: the support occasionally tends to open to a full 180 degrees, forming a straight line, rather than restricting itself to the optimal 90ish degrees needed to naturally support a hose. While it appears that there are stops on the hinge intended to prevent this, their effectiveness seems inconsistent, occasionally failing to function as anticipated. It's mostly a minor inconvenience, however, and does not significantly detract from the overall functionality of the product.

Accordion style to fold up nicely, with an included strap to keep it closed up during travel. Angled and adjustable to work at any campground. It does what it's supposed to do. Great product for a great price.
