Flashpoint Junior Steel Wheeled Stand - 12'

After purchasing my strobe, it was clear that my previously purchased stands that I got for my speed lights were not going to work for it. In fact, I would not even trust them with sand bags. Good news is, that this stand is rock solid. It was effortless to install the included wheels, and very easy for me to figure out how everything works. It is heavy, but that is a plus, because it feels really secure and not top heavy. A scenario where sand bags may be needed may possibly be where something heavy is at the end of a boom at the upper limits of the stands extension; that of course is something you either already know about, or you will have to figure out on your own just like me. The lowest height this stand's shaft can be set up for is just over 4 feet high, and as you know it extend up to 12 feet.

Everything is robust except the pin. It sits loosely.But overall it's the best stand you can purchase for large modifiers without having to worry about it tipping over. Keep in mind it is heavy. Needs two hands to pick up if you're packing it. The spring action on the poles is a plus so it doesn't come crashing down and saves your fingers. This is a must buy .

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to this time. This is without question a quality stand. I used a c stand previously to hold a 600d and a huge lantern diffuser and broke the c stand due to the weight of it. I put the same setup on this stand and it didn’t falter one bit. Definitely will be purchasing another one.

This is a great stand, it is very stout! I placed a boom arm on it, it is strong. This is much better then I expected! It is very solid build, no plastic on this monster. It is tight and no free moving or wiggle on the structure. I will probably get another one down the road. This is just well build!

This Flashpoint Wheeled Stand is large, extremely heavy-duty, and well worth the price. Unlike C-Stands, which are my favorite lighting stands, this stand is a beast. It is perfect for use with overhead lighting and steel boom arms. Keep in mind however, you will need upper-body strength and a firm hand grip to safely raise and lower the stand's sections. Each of the stand's legs extends outward from the center column 3-4 feet, and has its own locking wheel. This is a very stable, affordable, and well built wheeled stand!

I needed a higher rolling stand for my photography studio but the price from the well known manufacturers was too much to stomach. Another photographer recommended this one and the price was extremely reasonable. It arrived, I assembled it, mounted my boom and up went the strobe (Einstein640)/octabox (60 inch). Only caveat is that getting the boom up and down requires a significant amount of strength - even though I am using what I though was a relatively light strobe/octabox.But other than that, it is very stable, rolls nicely (takes up a lot of space but then no sandbags are needed). I'll be buying more Flashpoint rolling stands in the future.

WOW! Thank you Adorama! This is the real-deal AT a real-deal. I sure wish I'd known about this stand in the past. Well boxed, well built and sturdy. Great wheels, great fit and finish...zero to complain about. I have at least 40 light stands in the studio and this one ranks as one of the best....surprises galore. I will be buying more. Don't waste your time or money on small, wobbly junk stands...here's the real deal, ready to work for you forever!

You will NOT be disappointed. I received this yesterday and OMG!! It’s built like a TANK!!! Very sturdy, extremely solid build, strong metal. Makes my normal c stand look like toothpicks. (Showin in the picture) I’m 6’4 and you can see how it towers over me. The upgrade is totally worth it. I’ll probably snag 2 more. Makes life for me filmmaking wise So much easier.
