I hadn't used one of these before, but I have found this to be fine for the job.It was a bit difficult to mold well as it is quite small (I am 5foot 2inches and a slight build and it is too small for me in truth - it is more child-sized in my opinion). However, it is usable and works well, and it was more comfortable than I was expectingThe minty flavour was fine while it lasted but does wear off fairly quickly so don't buy it for that!In all, it works fine and if you have a small sized mouth it would be perfect.It seems reasonable value given the competition.

Good item, did the job temporarily, however was smaller than I realised in that it only covered the front 6 teeth leaving the rears exposed. I suffer from bruxism, therefore I needed protection at night from teeth grinding. Unfortunately I managed to break my filling whilst wearing this guard. Also this item started to wear from the grinding quite quickly. Luckily the guard provided by NHS was provided within a couple of weeks after first using this item and it fits over all bottom teeth and offers perfect protection.

I have been suffering from severe bruxism and thought this may be able to help, but it really wasn't a wise purchase...Firstly, the moulding process doesn't create an accurate mould first time 'round, due to the thickness of the guard, however, when trying to re-mould, the smooth coating of the guard comes off, leaving course plastic!Secondly, the guard is far too big - it's chunky in the mouth and couldn't be worn comfortably to sleep.Lastly, it doesn't even do the job! Although it stops teeth from grinding other teeth, its flawed design still allows for severe grinding, meaning the lifespan of the product is incredibly low.All in all, I wouldn't bother wasting any money; if you have Bruxism, unfortunately the dentist is your best bet.

Stops me grinding but often falls out during the night or I end up sleeping with my mouth open and end up with a very dry mouth and throat and take it out. I wasn't happy with the shape I managed to model it in to but did not try to re-mould it but it did do the job. Now managed to lose it somewhere during the night! Overall better than the cost of a tailored one.

Excellent product! I bought this rather than pay another £200 for a replacement NHS nightguard. Very impressed! Although it is not custom shaped to my teeth, the difference is almost not worth mentioning. Found the shaping easy enough and it was good to go within a few minutes! The trick seems to be in sucking out all the air from undeneath after biting down hard so the vacuum effect moulded it to my teeth. The material is softer than the NHS guards (which actually makes it more comfortable) so Just hoping that it lasts now but for the price, even if it didn't last as long as the NHS one, it would still be a fantastic buy! :)))

I found this product easy to use, it moulds well to teeth when heated and very comfortable to use, in fact more comfortable than the custom fit one I paid £100 for from the dentist. The only negative thing I could say is that it might be a little small for a man , it fits me perfectly but I'm a fairly small female.

Not great but i think i may not have used it correctly.It rubbed against my wisdom teeth and caused an infection so had to have antibiotics to treat it but everyone is different

Why oh why does is seem every mouth guard out there is designed for a 6 year old? When I followed the instructions to bite down on the guard it was so small it actually totally flattened out. If you have more than 4 teeth I would not recommend buying this at all. Even more annoying is the fact it can hardly be returned once bitten!
