Works well be beware the technical limitation
This was purchased to marry an older monitor without an hdmi port to my mac mini as a second screen. It worked beautifully but its worth mentioning that this is a one way converter. Like many DP to HDMI leads most of them only work in one direction. I purchased with this in mind so i got the right lead but its worth checking to make sure when you order. The lead itself was competitively priced and worked like a charm so no complaints from me!

Works well
I knew when I bought a Samsung G5 monitor to replace my aging Samsung C27F... letters... that I'd want something better than the dusty old HDMI cable I had laying around.SO having recently purchased myself a fancy dock and gaming laptop, I thought, why not take advantage of the higher refresh rate of the DisplayPort and really make it sing.Given the price of this cable, it was really a good choice. Packaging was a bit lacking, but since that's the bit you throw away I didn't really care. Black cable. Gold connectors. Stick it in the back of the machine where you don't see it. For what it does, top quality, super happy.If you need a USB-C to DisplayPort cable, buy one. They're great.

perfect for MacBook Pro
I bought a 4k monitor to plug my MacBook Pro 2019 into and was using HDMI though a hub. I could only get 30hz and had a problem where it kept flickering after going to sleep and I had to unplug and replug it each time. Displayport is much better, I get 60hz and it offers me HDR which looks amazing. Seems pretty well made. Bargain.

One star is too generous
For an item that has one function it's pretty damning when it can't even do that. Tried this cable on two laptops on multiple monitors and it just does not work. It attempts to connect but a signal is not received by the monitor and no image is displayed.Worthless junk, will be seeking a refund.

I got this to connect my MacBook to an older monitor. It connected to my monitor straight away and works great. Good value for money.

This feels really good quality, however unfortunately have been unable to test it.Would recommend based on it feeling like a premium product.
