AVM INDUSTRIES 4365 STRONG ARM

These worked as they were intended and they were really simple to install. Although they are super strong and hard to compress at first, they wear in ever so slightly and become easy to use after a week or so (multiple daily uses). I would recommend them to anyone in need of replacement lifts.

The StrongArm replacement struts installation could not have been quicker or more simple. All it takes is a skinny screwdriver to pry off the retainer clips and just press the new ones on - I was finished literally in 5 mins. I really like it now when I hit my hatch release button on my keyfob that the window just takes itself up. I've seen the feedback reporting that these struts are too strong. Yes they are nice and strong, but in't that a good thing? The window goes up, but in a nice and regulated way, i.e., not out of control and jerky. All I can say is, if you can't close the window, then maybe you should work out more. Seriously, yes the struts seem stiff, but remember they are brand new - give it a few months of use and I'm sure they will relax a bit. I have no problem recommending these struts - they seem like Jeep material to me and I can tell they will last many years. Enjoy the Moment!

Works well. Replaced both and now window pops completely up when remote operated. Little bit hard to close now, but I'm sure in winter will work better... gas charged struts usually have less activation in winter...

Easiest thing I've ever done. Jeep Liberty rear glass wouldn't even pop up anymore because the old lift supports had run out of life. After reading reviews for this product, I decided to only purchase one of these, because the consensus seems to be that they are so powerful that with two brand new ones, the glass will fly up way too fast. Replacing just one worked great, and was the easiest thing I've ever done. Each end of the old lift support has a little clip that you remove by pulling it with a pair of pliers. Once the clip is off, the support itself comes right off.JUST WATCH YOUR HEAD!! The glass is pretty heavy, and without the lift support you kind of either have to have a partner hold it up or find creative ways to do it yourself. I balanced it on my head while I worked. Cool, huh? Anyway, then you put the new lift support in place and snap the clips back in. The whole thing, start to finish, took maybe three minutes. Now the rear glass lifts like it's supposed to. Awesome!

Fit my 2006 Jeep Liberty perfectly. They were easy to install, in a few minutes, on my first try - after watching a You Tube DIY video. No more banging my forehead into the rear glass; and saved a bundle.
