Brilliant middle ground
It’s an expensive card but compared to similar models or even 3070/3080 it’s well worth the extra. I upgraded from a ROG Strix 2080super which was amazing but I wanted to go 1440p again. I didn’t expect a massive boost but it’s surprised me just how well it copes with everything, only Starfield has had to reduce settings but I feel it can go higher then recommended with some tweaks. It’s quiet, 3 fans keep it cool even when being stressed. Performance is amazing and doesn’t require a lot of power or big PSU. The additional RTX functions of the 40 series GPUs give it extra boost in gamesMy CPU is aging so 1080p can be a bottleneck and going up to 1440p has taken some the stress off. This will max anything at 1080p but even at 1440p, I haven’t found anything that needs a downgrade to run well

Absolutely brilliant card! Time to throw out my 1660ti!
Coming from a GTX1660Ti is a massive upgrade. Ive been using this GPU for a week now and am amazed by its performance. The card can run a lot of games at 4K at high resolution, with stunning detailed quality. Most games run super smooth and so far i've only had issues with GTA5, but I did go overboard pushing the visuals to the absolute limit. I order to reset the issues I used the Geforce app to optimise the settings back to normal, avoiding the pain of trying to do it and remember which settings I had changed in the game itself. In my previous card I found the drivers to be buggy and often I had issues with BSOD happening and my PC not poasting, but the software and drivers on the 4070 are perfect. No more issues posting and no more BSOD anymore. I highly reccomend this card, and even though didnt opt for the Super or Ti version, which were much more exspensive for very small performance increases, I've found I am extremely happy with this purchase. I'm looking forward to testing it out on much more demanding games. Great value for money, quiet operation and superb performance on my 7 year old PC. It completely blows the 1660ti out of the water.Instalation was as easy as it is with most GPUs depending on the PC configuration. Just clip the card into the motherboards GPU slot, connect the power cable and screw it in place on the back of the PC.The card is quiet even in demanding games.I did find that I had to use a different case that I already owned at the card is about half a slot thicker than my Gaming X 6gb 1660ti which was inside my itx case Phanteks Evolv Shift from 2017 which was a shame as the case it lovely looking and High quality. I was unable to put the glass cover back on the case due to the Dimensions. 267.01 x 133.94 x 51.13 mm 10.51 x 5.27 x 2.01 inch, extra depth compaired to the 1660ti. To deal with this I had a cheap ATX case lying around, and then unfortunatly due to the positioning of the motherboards power couplings I was unable to fit my PSU (SFX power supply) without cable extenders. But thats down to my computer design and not the 4070 card. But if you are coming from an ITX build, keep this all in mind when fitting the card if you have to change the case due to the extra dimention size of the card compaired to smaller cards if you have them fitted. Not disapointed at all though. My best PC purchase so far.i5 Intel 7600KZ270l Ausu itx Gaming motherboard16GB Corsair Vengeance Ram 3200MHz4TB HDD (game storage)256GB M.2 operating system drive

It works
Straightforward replacement for a Nvidia 3060 card in a PCI-E slot in my PC. Installation took less than 5 minutes (including opening the case), no issues whatsoever, and an immediate gain in framerate using the identical drivers installed for the 3060. Just does what it says on the tin, without any hassle. Pricing was interesting - £518 the day before, dropped to £450 (so I bought it!), then back to £518 a day later. Now offered at £508.........).

Great card runs well
Great card, nice and small so fits in my case no issues and runs fairly cool at 60c in cyberpunk.

Great card at Great price
Great value at £500Was looking for a rtx5080 but all out of stock or over £1000 so got this as an upgrade of 3070 laptop. Really impressed the 'included' oc software is a bit rubbish so oc in nvidia appReally easy to install had to work out drivers as initially got a bad screen, but once done, all easyGreat price for a great card

ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G TUF Gaming OC - probably the best value card atm Sept 24
ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G TUF Gaming OCGraphics Card prices at the moment are outrageous and after a bit of searching around for the best bang for your £££'s I settled on this.Bought this to replace my aging 5700XT and wow it's absolutely superb, very very quiet and only uses the same power as my 5700XT for MUCH more performance, not too worried about the 12gig Vram as I only play at 1440p and it's perfect for that.It is a WHOLE lot larger than my 5700XT with a HUGE cooler but Asus does give you a little stand to place under the card to take the weight off your PCI-e slot if you mount it horizontally.Enjoying being back on Nvidia with RT and DLSS.The only negative I would say is if you're a big fan of RGB then there isn't much on the card, not an issue for me personally but worth a mention.

Pretty happy with the upgrade
Considering the upgrade from the GTX 1080, I am more than happy with the change even if the cost still hurts. The improvement is clear, although there are games where I have needed to tweak some settings, possibly also because of bad game optimisation. From the new generation of GPUs, it is definitely the best when it comes to cost/performance.
