VeryBarista E&B Lab Competition Moka Filter (6 Cup) - Stainless Steel - 1 Count - Compatible with Moka Coffee Pot

Travelling in Italy brought me some inspiration about coffee, so I bought Bialetti Musa 4 cup. I chose a stainless steel moka pot for the convenience of maintenance, but I was not satisfied with the taste of espresso out of it. After researching on how to improve it, I found this filter. After a long hesitation due to the price, I finally got this, and it improved the taste of espresso so much! It actually tastes better than coffee shops! I'm so glad I bought it. Btw, I can confirm that it nicely fits Bialetti Musa 4 cup (probably Venus 4 cup as well).

I own a Mokia pot that's not standard—it's very close to a 6-pot version. After carefully measuring using the dimensions provided on the site, I confirmed that the VeryBarista E&B Lab Competition Moka Filter fit my pot perfectly. Installation was straightforward and hassle-free. The mesh is noticeably finer than my original filter, producing a rich, flavoursome coffee with little water retention in the base. Overall, a great upgrade for anyone looking to enhance their coffee brewing experience.

I make a moka pot coffee once or twice a day and have recently been getting very into all aspects of coffee so thought I’d finally bite the bullet for this very expensive filter. I’ve attached a video of the resulting coffee flow and this was actually one of the tastiest I’ve made however I think I’d credit that more to now finding the perfect grind … I actually don’t thunk that the taste is that noticeable between the original filter and this one. Mouthfeel also pretty similar but if I had to say then maybe I’d lean towards this being a bit cleaner. For me the more appealing/impressive thing is that the seal is really good and so the water pressure no longer starting trying to seep though the base screw - this isn’t a directly fair comparison though because the previous gasket evidently needed changing. This new filter and gasket do seem to clean up remarkably well and look like new each time. Regarding installation, it’s super easy to change and fits in nicely. Verdict: it is very expensive for what it is. If it does continue to wear really in comparison to the original rubber gaskets then I’ll be very happy with the purchase still. If you’re looking to buy this to upgrade the coffee taste or something then I’d say save your money to go towards a really good grinder instead.

Both the filter itself and the seal it comes with are of much better quality than the original ones. Plus, finer holes provide better filtration and flow distribution.

This will make your Moka coffee so much smoother and minimise any bitterness. Perfect fit on the 6 cup Bialetti (aluminium), no rubber taste and strangely so much easier to rinse. Down side, I'll have to buy a few more for my 3 cup collection, and so I wish they were a little cheaper, but there is no doubt about the quality of the finish.

I bought 1 of each size for my various sized moka coffee pots, all work fantastic and should last the lifetime of my coffee pots. Very impressed.

Got this for my 6 cup Bialetti moka pot, to improve filtration and flow rate. Works a treat, very pleased.

I replaced my original Moca Pot's filter, and I prefer these ones. Works really well.

I got a induction bialetti venus, 6 cups, it fits perfectly also with the rubber gasket. 1:1 replacement. For good mokka technique i can recommend the james hoffman videos about mokka. Now i obviously had to brew two times one with the standard filter and then with the e&b one. Both times i used the technique from james and the same cofee of course with airopress filter paper. Does it make better cofee ? YES. How much better ? 30-50% i woud say. More details: - Less bitterness at the end - More cleaner body - Smoother mouthfeel Its a next level cofee experiance.

Es un filtro que marca una clara diferencia; es compatible con Bialetti de 6 tazas. Ha marcado un antes y un después. Recordatorio de que también hay que saber preparar correctamente el café y añadir que es importante también el molido, no querrás un café muy molido si quieres aprovechar este filtro al máximo. Ha merecido la pena, quizás comprarse la cafetera de E&B hubiese sido incluso mejor opción.

For all you coffee heads out there with a New Venus 4 cup mocha pot. Yes it can use the 3 cup competition filter. It fits very nicely and works perfectly. I went over my caffeine limit just to check it out. Serious coffee quality improvement. I can't recommend this competition filter ENOUGH. Don't miss out on superb coffee flavor. Highly recommended.
