Our Singing School - Oliver ! Backing Tracks

Excellent voice-free set of backing tracks. BUT ... if you also buy the recommended score and if guitar is your favoured instrument, or you want to include guitar in the performance, then you will need to be a VERY good reader of fully transcribed music because there are no indicators for chords. For that, maybe check this version out (I'm not yet sure if all songs on CD are also in this book, but many should be) Lionel Bart's Oliver! Vocal Selections for Piano, Voice and Guitar

I hoped purchasing this would save me having to play and record all the songs myself. However, lots of them were too high in pitch or too fast for the KS2 children who did the show. If you have one of those CD players on which you can adjust these features this CD would be more useful. In addition, some of the backing tracks did not include the variations in tempo within the song, and/or ignored the musical pauses essential for a breath!The tracks themselves sounded great and I was able to use many of them without alteration.

Brilliant! Will be using it for our Year 5&6 School Production.
