Oil seal - thin and Thick-one set,48cc/66cc/80cc Gas Motorized Bicycle

No more leaks

These are fantastic and last a long time. My trick of the trade I’ve been doing for 15 years on these motorized bicycle seals is to put a little 2 stroke oil on the inside of the seal or grease and put permatex Moro seal the grey gas and oil resistant gasket sealer on the outside of the seal before I pop them in the motor. My biggest tip is don’t put these in dry. Get a paper towel and clean up the seal area on the motor before installing. The small amount of oil or grease on the inside prevents premature wearing and buckling of the seal. The permatex prevents the seals from popping out. I also get a socket from my tool box that is just big enough to go over the crankshaft and just small enough to push the seal in even. It’s a cake walk really. Plenty of YouTube videos on this too. I’ve build well over 130 motorized bikes in 15 years and repaired more then I can count. This is just my two cents on what works and lasts. You can do whatever you feel comfortable doing. Make sure you stay away from seals with Chinese writing on them. They are the worst.Ride safe out there everyone ✌️
