Ordinary Angels DVD

I absolutely LOVED this movie! Hilary Swank gives an Oscar worthy performance as someone who is outgoing, kind, and who wants to do good in life, but because she's an alcoholic, it messes up her life, and that of her son. Hilary as Sharon Stevens wasn't there for her son, not in the way a mother should be (PTA, helping w/ homework, going to hear him play music), so he started expecting nothing in return from her. Sharon loves her son, but never felt 'worthy' of doing anything so she couldn't be there for him in the way that he needed her to be. The movie was about Faith in God, Faith in community, in the general goodness of people. I am not a crier, but as I watched this movie, there were tears. The director, was very good in how the movie started and ended. Definitely worth watching. The Hope to believe in ourselves, that we have a sense of purpose, in life IS EXACTLY WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT.

What a wonderful movie. In these days, a feel good movie is so nice to watch. Acting was superb, storyline was different and uplifting.

My husband and kids (15F and 12M) watched this last night. We loved it. Everything about it was wonderful - heartwarming story told with really good (and convincing) acting. I haven't seen anything with Hilary Swank for awhile and she was SO GOOD. Literally, every character - with a major or minor part - was so well done.

This 🎬 movie is what they call under the radar. I don't know why, this message movie is awesome. Make sure you have tissues cause the message is real, and some of us can relate to the events.

we all struggles but they can be overcome. I am in recovery and found this movie relatable.

What a terrific movie. Boyfriend and I both had tears in our eyes.
