Wireless Mouse for Laptop, Silent Mouse Quiet Click, Computer Mice Wireless, 6 Adjustable 4000 DPI Computer Mice

Decent price for a cheap wireless mouse. Wanted something to use for the times I don't want to use the track pad on the laptop. Does the job well enough. I wasn't picky about color so I just got what was cheapest.

It is silent but there is tactile feedback to the buttons, so you feel a detent when they depress. Not just mushiness with no feedback. Mouse is a bit narrower than some of the other contoured mice. Comfortable, easy to use, glides well, rubber insert is comfortable. It does not have an ON light or any visible red light in the tracking area underneath. Totally dark and silent. (Battery led flashes momentarily on first powerup) The sleep function is excellent. Pressing a button wakes the mouse so you can move it around and any desk vibration won't keep waking the mouse. Looks and feels like decent quality. Overall, very satisfied.

The things I like: it's quiet, almost no sound when clicking. Bluetooth well, comfortable grip with different textures. Cons: I'd like it a little heavier but that's just a preference. I think the power consumption could be better, but whatever.

I selected this particular TECKNET mouse because I am familiar with the quality of this brand. I purchased a TECKNET mouse 9 years ago based on the reviews at that time (and because I wanted "purple" which wasn't so popular then). Over the course of 9 years my original mouse was used for many hours on a daily basis. While it does still work, I've noticed I'm having to click more than once to select something and I decided it was time to replace it. I immediately came back to TECKNET to see what was available and was delighted they are still going strong and getting great reviews. Plus, not only did they have my beloved "purple" option, this is also touted having "quiet clicks which was extremely appealing! Upon arrival I popped in 2 AAA batteries, plugged in the tiny USB receiver and I was good to go. This mouse looks and feels identical to my original one. This design and size is a perfect fit for my hand and it's really comfortable to use. I do appreciate the silent clicks but noticed the back and forward buttons are not silent which was a bit of let down but certainly not enough to return it. Also, while my prior mouse did have a DPI button I was never aware of it's existence or it's purpose. Given this touts 4000 DPI with 6 levels of adjustability I decided to see what the hype was about. I didn't see any detail in the instructions that explained this so I searched online. Once I understood what the button actually does I tried it out and was amazed at what a great feature this is! I'm extremely pleased with TECKNET, I appreciate the quality and number of excellent features included at an excellent price point.
