Does its job for my AI puck light
This arm is well built and functions great holding my AI puck light. It looks as good as a light mounting arm can look over an aquarium, adjusts very simply and was easy to mount and use. So far holding up good and what I like is that it fits on my rimmed aquarium nicely. Most higher end lights are equipped to be on a rimless aquarium, this will do both easily.

High quality mount!
Since I have a unique diamond-shaped deep TruVu tank, I cannot use many of the strip lights available out there. My only realistic option was to use the AI Prime Freshwater light for my planted tank. I wasn’t sure how it would be mounted since I do not have the typical thin rim that lights can clamp on to. I mounted a triangular wooden shelf to the corner of the wall (many screws to hold the weight), and I was easily able to clamp this flexible mounting arm to the shelf. Took a few minutes to install and I was up and running. I was happy to see that the AI brand is made in the USA!! Will definitely purchase from this brand again.

Not Secure
Had it mounted securely to my tank looked great for 2 full days morning of day three woke up to the $300 light swimming with the fishes. Looks like the adhesive used to hold cheap rubber pad on the mounting bracket failed causing the light to slip off and go in the tank. Hopefully not too many toxic chemicals/metals leached out into my marine tank but now I am going to have to do a massive water change just to be safe.

A gooseneck with cord clips. They actually thought this one through a little, but to short if you've got a wider tank and no longer option.
