I absolutely love doing these paint by numbers and the finished product always comes out looking great

I was attracted to this Paint by Numbers for Adults kit because I was nostalgic about doing Paint by Numbers as a kid and wanted to find a new art hobby that did not require a lot of investment in money or time to get started.I ordered the flower/sea landscape - poppies/ocean kit and was surprised at how large the canvas is: roughly 15 x 20 inches. The soft canvas comes folded up, but using a handheld steamer on the back side for several minutes, I removed all the wrinkles without damaging the paint by numbers markings on the front. Two screws and two hangers are included for hanging a frame, although there are no frame, hardware, or instructions for attaching the canvas to a frame, or any other finishing instructions.The lines and shaded areas that delineate where one paints are clear and consistent. However, some of the numbers and the areas are extremely small and difficult to see/start to overlap. The kit includes a small (2.25 x 3.25 inch) color print of what the final painting should look like, which is helpful and would be even more helpful if it were larger. A paper replica (8.5 x 11 inches) of the paint by number markings on the canvas is almost entirely unreadable due to the scaled-down size of the numbers and paint areas.The paints are sealed within little plastic tubs that have numbers on top to match the areas to paint, and are of good quality, color, and consistency. The three included brushes provided options for painting the tiniest details or covering larger areas of the canvas. I found the paint dries quickly, and once started, one gets the feel of how thick to apply it to fully cover the numbers and markings underneath.Final Recommendation: For a minimal investment, this paint by number kit for adults has brought back some great memories of my childhood and also provided a surprisingly relaxing activity. The canvas I ordered is very detailed, and it does take far longer than one might expect to paint in some of those areas, and for me, it has been a multi-session project. This is a good buy as a gift or for oneself: anyone looking to be a little creative or who needs a relaxing distraction.

This one has extremely tiny numbers all so close together that I can barely make out. Also the picture is not exactly accurate to the painting itself in terms of colors. Overall it’s fine

This feels like it's made for an artist. The canvas is super durable and the paints look and feel high quality. This is one of those buys where you're glad you made. Doing this just makes my worries and stress melt away. I loved it. I'll have to get more of these!
