This is a fantastic tool for the everyday do it yourselfer, it works great and the suction tubes will fit your car or truck. I used the small tube and vacuumed 5 quarts of engine oil in under 3 minutes using my compressor. The manual pump works fantastic, I had to try it first. The container is large enough to hold what it needs to and dumping it requires no funnel. This first use was proof positive that it is mess free. My nickname was Captain Hazelwood because I always spill oil, except when I used this, I love it. I won't be fear being squished by my car anymore because my over tarriffed jack failed. I wish I had found this tool sooner in my life. I've used similar vacuuming tools in commercial outfits and dealerships, but they are way too expensive for the home garage. Great tool and well fabricated. I'm a Navy trained Aviation Structural Mechanic. So I believe that my credentials will support my high rating for this tool.

I have been changing my oil for years but stopped because I was tired of crawling under a jacked up car to drain the oil. Then one of the quick oil places scrimped and failed to use a new o-ring on the oil filter of my GLI causing a huge oil leak and a tow to the dealer. I decided to go back to doing it myself. I was told about oil extracters by a friend and researching top products ended up ordering the Four Uncles 6L oil extracter. It is a game changer for me. It is very well made, easy to use and I was able to extract 95% + of the old oil manually with little effort. I purchased the optional compressor attachment but have not used it yet. I wish I had learned about Four Uncles and their oil extracters sooner. It would have saved many trips and $ for oil changes. Highly recommended!

I purchased this vacuum pump for my sister-in-law so she could do her own oil changes on her 2017 Dodge Challenger. (I would do oil changes for her but she lives more than 1000 miles away.) I took this pump with me when my wife and I visited her sister recently and we used it for the first time to do an oil change on her Challenger.The pump was very easy to put together and we had no trouble inserting the extraction tube into the dipstick tube on her car. Within just a few pumps, oil was flowing smoothly into the spherical reservoir. We realized after a few minutes we needed to snug the vacuum pump about a quarter turn more on the reservoir to maintain vacuum. Once we did that oil removal continued without continuous pumping. It took about 15 minutes for all the oil to be removed but only required pumping about 10 strokes at 5 minute intervals.The oil capacity in this vehicle is 5.9 quarts and that fit nicely in the oil vacuum reservoir without being drawn up into the pump unit. After changing the oil filter and refilling the vehicle with fresh oil, we transferred the used oil from the pump reservoir into the now-empty oil containers. This was very easy to do by unscrewing vacuum pump, capping the top hole in the reservoir, then unscrewing the oil vacuum hose from the offset port on the reservoir and then firmly pressing on the provided spout. Using the handle on the side of the reservoir it was very easy to pour the used oil into the containers with almost no drips or spilling.This product is very nicely designed as it is compact and works very well! It effectively removes all the oil with little mess and, most significantly, allows an oil change without having to crawl under the vehicle. It takes a little bit longer to remove the oil by vacuum than it does by draining, but the convenience of not having to get under the vehicle is well worth the extra few minutes it takes to complete the task. This is an excellent product that I recommend to anyone who already does their own oil changes or is interested in learning to do their own oil changes.

The oil extractor performed just as it should. There were plenty of attachments provided for multiple applications. It had what I needed to extra the oil out of our boat. The markings on it were clear and gave me the exact amount that I needed to put back into the engine, making the oil change even easier. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to change their own oil and needing to extract it. Afterwards, it came apart nicely so I could dump the oil out and I was able to store it back in the original box to use the next time.

Very convenient device that we used with our Audi A4 for an oil change. Just choose the medium hose and insert it until you feel some resistance and pump the device. You have to feed it through several times to make sure you get all of the oil and run the car for a few minutes to heat up the oil to make it flow more easily. However, a lot cleaner than having to remove the skid shield from the bottom and pop open the drain plug!

Not of very high quality as far as fit and finish but does work effectively so far. For the little exta I would advise purchasing the extended warranty as I did.

No longer do I have to jack up and crawl under my golf cart to change the oil. There is a metal plate covering the oil drain that has to be removed to drain the old oil. Now I can simply insert the proper sized attachment into the oil fill under the seat and pump out the used oil . This will also be great for my pressure washer, lawn mowers and vehicles.

Seems like a quality product. I purchased to change oil on a Yamaha Drive2 (quietech). It's time consuming to remove all skidplates and baffling just to get to the drain plug, so this allowed me to do a complete change with minimal effort. It took maybe 2-3min to extract a quart while I was doing other things. My only "complaint" is there is nowhere to store the suction tubes on the unit like the other versions from this same company. I'd recommend this product though.
