To turn on and off lights

I needed something like this to be able to fit in my outside outlets for Christmas lights. Although these are not rated for outdoors, my outlets are in my entry way. All good there, but the outlets are inset in the wall an inch and a half or so. These being the taller but the size of a plug i was able to use them in the recessed outlet. They work as expected, and connected them all in just a few minutes.

I’ve used several smart plugs and devices (such as light bulbs), and this was the easiest one to connect by far. I was shocked by it. They connected almost immediately, which I’ve never had happen before. They also do only take up one plug, which I love! I used to hate that about my other ones because the other outlet plug was deemed useless. These also come with a two year warranty, which I love! Buy these!

I had a bit of trouble connecting the devices and was considering returning. Well I’m glad I gave these smart plugs a second chance. They work great! The app interface is easy to operate and the convenience is unimaginable. I literally set up random off/on hrs so that in the evenings it appears that someone is home. I’ll even turn the lights on from the app when I’m driving up to my home so that I’m not walking into a darkness. Great option when you’re away from your home coming home late from work or on vacation. Try it and see : )

Makes life a lot simpler, I don't need to worry about if I left the iron on anymore, it turns off by itself after 10 minutes. Hope it saves on my bills as well. I only wish I could set up timers based on a calander as my schedule is erratic. But nothing does that YET hence the comment. Ask and you shall receive.

One of the four plugs was defective. Set-up is a little tricky for these, but they seem to be working well after set-up. I have found many Matter devices to be buggy at set-up. They all took mutiplr attempts to pair with Google Home. Once they are paired, they show up as "offline" for about 1 hour -- then they start working.Amazon support is also not ideal here: In order to get a refund from Amazon, I would need to return the entire set, but 3 are already set-up.

Way easier to setup than (hate to say it) Amazon plug for the same amount of money u get 4 plugs. Very difficult to navigate thru Alexa app even though I would buy more products if that app was better. This is fast and easy just need the smart home app.

I have really enjoyed integrating these with Alexa. Super easy to use and quick, when given commands. I can turn on and off from an app on the phone, use alexa, or set a timer for each one in the app.
