I use the as airbag dummy plug.I removed 2nd row chair, and need to fake the system.This one is good for that purpose.Only problem was I could not plugged without cracking connector housing.

These are nice testers for diagnosing air bag circuits in cars.Most air bags are adding 2.2 ohms.When diagnosing short or open air bag circuit codes, you install this in place or your air bag to see if the code stops setting, if so, then the air bag is the problem. If the code remains, then the circuit is likely the problem.You cannot safely measure the resistance of an air bag with an ohm meter, DON'T TRY IT, or you will DEPLOY IT!!With this dummy sensor installed on place of the air bag, then you can measure the circuit.If you don't know what you are doing, DON'T test your air bag circuits.

Alternative to the usual practice of using a resistor with t taps. Those who understand the use of this will appreciate the ability to install and remove without any visible signs of use. Ends the CANBUS warning signal on dash by completing otherwise open circuit.
