Beat My Expectations!
When the PicassoTiles Magnet Cube Winter Ice Themed set arrived, I knew it would be a hit with my daughter Lilly, but I didn't anticipate just how much joy it would bring. As she opened the box, her eyes lit up at the sight of the colorful magnetic cubes and the whimsical character figures that promised hours of imaginative play.Lilly dove right in, her small hands deftly picking up the magnetic blocks and clicking them together. The satisfying snap of the magnets was a constant as she built her very own ice castle, a place where her stories could come to life. It wasn't just a toy; it was a portal to a world of creativity, where each block added to the narrative she spun in her mind. The quality of the blocks impressed me. They were sturdy, with a strong magnetic hold that kept her creations intact even as she transported them from room to room, showing off her architectural feats. The fact that they were BPA-free and non-toxic gave me peace of mind as a parent, knowing that her safety was considered in their design.Watching Lilly play with the PicassoTiles set was a reminder of the power of simple, well-crafted toys in unlocking a child's potential. It wasn't just about building structures; it was about building skills—problem-solving, spatial awareness, and coordination—all wrapped up in the guise of play.In the end, the PicassoTiles Magnet Cube set proved to be more than just another toy in Lilly's collection. It became a cherished part of her daily routine, a tool for learning, and a springboard for her imagination. For any parent considering this set, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a gift of learning, disguised as a bundle of fun.

Love This Magnetic Building Block Set!
These magnetic blocks are fun for anyone to play with and are perfect for any Frozen or Nutcracker fan. The blocks are about 1" square and are easy to stack on top of each other and make unique shapes. I love the magnetic feature as it gives you additional ways to connect them and you can build towers on the castle without any issue. The builds are pretty durable and you can leave them for a time and come back to keep building or to knock it down and start over.My main complaint with this set is that there are just not enough blocks! There are 72 blocks in this set and it is quite expensive for those so I was expecting my nephew to be able to build all kinds of things. You can build the castle and figures as shown on the listing with one set, but it is tough to build more than a little house without more blocks. It forces you to be creative and sparing with your building supplies, which is good, but can be frustrating when the block you need is not available. You will definitely need 3 - 4 sets if you are planning on your children building together. These blocks make a great gift. They come nicely packaged in a colorful box. There is also a building guide included to help your little builders get started. The blocks have a magnet inside that works on all 8 sides of each cube so they can be used without orienting them. They are Frozen themed without being officially licensed. You can see 2 of the princesses look just like Elsa and Anna. The princes look more like the Nutcracker from the classic ballet. All-in-all, it's a cute winter-themed building block set.

Cute, but small and not very stable
Cute set. I like the imagery on the frozen/ice castle themed set. With the brick faces, turrets, flags and climbing vines, I think preschoolers and older would really enjoy creating fantastical castles, cottages, and other structures. Our toddler just uses these as general magnetic blocks at this point and pretty much ignores the imagery. The blocks are cute, but do not create very stable builds. The magnets are not that strong, so any little movement or brush of the hand will cause the whole bunch to come crashing down. Our toddler doesn’t mind this, as destruction is just as, if not more, fun than construction at his age. But older kids and parents may find this frustrating. I find that building on top of a cookie sheet helps stabilize the blocks some. This set, however, is much smaller than I was expecting from the listing photos. The images of kids playing with the blocks were clearly photoshopped. I wish company would stop doing this with their listing images and just use real photos. Even if they put the correct measurements in the listing description, the pictures feel misleading. The blocks are quite tiny. The small size may be good for some…they would be a great travel set for example…but I was hoping for larger blocks. I think that the price (50 at time of review) is quite high for such a small and unstable set.So mixed feelings.

Create an ice empire for Elsa, Anna, the Nutcracker and more
My daughter was so happy to get these "winter" themed magnetic Picasso blocks. They really allow for imagination to take over both in building but in storying telling. She loves Frozen and was slightly thrown off by some of the other characters included (Nutcracker characters and some other ambiguous winter ones.) She loves building tall towers and knocking them over. These make for multiple ways to play- setting a scene, straight construction and she's come up with several other I can't even explain. I like that these are easy clean up- the magnets help with that, and the box is compact for storage.

Love these!
My girl loves these. They have strong magnets, and are a great value. The designs are fun because you can build the little characters! We don’t built a castle every time like is printed on the pattern of the blocks but they are fun!
