this is a fantastic wallet. The leather quality is above-average and has ...
4 star description5 star walletFirstly, this wallet cannot hold 8 credit cards in the provided slots. If you have embossed cards (most common in the US), it will barely fit 4 on the inside. If the cards aren't embossed, you MAY be able to uncomfortably squeeze 6 cards. The leather will need to be forced to stretch. The fit is so tight as it is that my credit card numbers imprint into the leather. You can see this in my photos, but the angle was adjusted for obvious privacy concerns. Bear in mind that each slot has only 1 embossed card and 1 non-embossed card. With 2 embossed cards the fit will be even tighter. You can also see my front pocket's leather stretching with just 1 standard non-embossed card and a business card.I encourage Vaultskin to update their description to a 5-card capacity as this is a more realistic number to fit without damaging the product. This is my reasoning for taking away 1 star. That out of the way, this is a fantastic wallet. The leather quality is above-average and has a great design. I appreciate the logo which looks sharp and isn't invasive. If you are deciding between a money clip and a pocket, you will want to get the pocket. The clips are easy to lose, break, are awkward when you are trying to sort through multiple bills, and don't secure cash all too well. This wallet is higher quality and just as thin. I would argue it can compete with some money clip wallets in thickness.Design:Cash exposure - Giving bills exposure about 1/4" initially bothered me. However, one of the ways pocket wallets wear out quickly over time is by opening the cash pocket and wearing out the stitching. With the cash exposed, it can be slid out easily without opening the pocket, prolonging the lifespan of the wallet.Horizontal Sleeves - Cards need to be slid in and out horizontally instead of sliding down into a pocket as common with most wallets. This is a good choice, in theory, to prolong the life of the wallet and contribute to a thinner profile. With less opening, there is less of an opportunity for excess wear to occur. However, the cards are a little difficult to remove from the bottom slots. The wallet needs to be shifted into an awkward position just to remove a card from the bottom sleeve, and if you have larger fingers it will be a chore. I only regularly use 2 cards, and one is on the outermost pocket so it suits my needs just fine. If you regularly use more than 3 cards it may be cumbersome.RFID protection - The protection comes from a film placed between the leather which folds from the outside of the wallet. If your wallet is open, or scanned from the side, it will still detect your cards. An RFID protective sleeve, even if paper thin, around an embossed card will not fit in the wallet. This wallet is therefore more secure than most and do well in general, but definitely not the most RFID secure solution out there. It will still do an adequate job for the most part.Overall this is a good wallet and I highly recommend it.

Very nice
My husband really likes this wallet. His only complaints are that it only holds a few cards (which the description says, so that's not really a surprise), and that the outside/cover card slot is questionable since a card could easily fall out and become lost, and/or it's easily seen and could more easily be stolen. He likes that there's a sleeve for cash, which it seems a lot of slimline wallets do not have. The material is comfortable and stylish. Overall he's very pleased with it, and it's much preferable to the "fat" traditional wallets that are heavy and cumbersome simply because of their design and the materials used. We definitely recommend this product to someone looking for a comfortable, slim wallet.

Excellent Slim Leather Bifold Wallet
The wallet arrived on time and exactly as described. It really is slim, even with 8 cards and ~10 bills in it. The leather is very nice and I'm sure it will age nicely. The outer card pocket is very convenient for your most frequently used debit/credit card. The inner card pocket hold the cards tight but not so tight that it's a struggle to get them out. Basically, it's a great slim wallet. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a simple wallet that can fulfill most every guy's needs.

If you carry more than 5 cards, you will probably be disappointed.
I wish I could recommend this wallet but unfortunately, I cannot. Design is excellent due to manner in which cards are inserted in slots. They cannot fall out! But, I wonder how the manufacturer came up with the dimensions. If you carry more than 4, maybe 5, credit cards, the pockets are so tight as to make this wallet totally unusable. There is no room for business or other common items most of us carry on an everyday basis. Not only are the slots tight, there are not enough of them. The leather looks like it might be leather but in my opinion, is of very poor quality. My guess is that in the attempt to make this wallet as thin as possible, they came up with a disappointing dud. In the old days, marketers would call this “winning the battle (thin) and losing the war” (usability)!

The cards are easy to take out
I bought a couple of wallets before getting this one. While other brands had some tech options such as pull tabs to slide the cards out, they lacked the security of keeping bills inside the wallet secured. This one is a mix of a traditional wallet in a slim stylish design. Bills are secured inside it and is RFID secured. I can fit 10 cards in it and still feels slim enough that it doesn't bother me when I sit. The cards are easy to take out, of course a pull tab or something similar would be great but the drawback would be it adds more bulk. The quality of the leather is excellent. I hope you guys don't change it a lot, I think this wallet will last a long time, but when the time comes to replace it I'll look fr your newest model.

Great minimalist front pocket wallet
I came from a RidgeWallet but got tired of the overly creased cash and inability to carry anything other than a few cards. This wallet is pretty much as small and slim as a wallet can get while maintaining the traditional bifold design. I hold 9 cards and it fits comfortably in my front pocket. Canadian cash fits - just barely. The cards in the inner pocket appear to be RFID blocked. The outer card pocket holds my keycard which can open doors while still in the wallet although the RFID reception appears to be slightly damped - sometimes I need to hold the card just a bit longer or wave it around the access panel for it to register. The leather is nothing fancy but it appears to be holding up. I’ve only had mine for a few weeks and durability and it is still looking new.

Nice Small Wallet
I was looking for a nice small wallet with RFID protection and this fits the bill. Canadian Money fits with no problem as you can see nothing sticks out. To take cards out from the inside pouches take a little work however that is not a bad thing sure the leather will soften over time. I have put 6 cards on the inside in (two by the money and one in the other spot on both side) and two on the outside.

Great for the price
That wallet is really great for the price. The material feels like quality materials and the design is superb. The only reason why I'm taking a star is because the cards inside are a bit too tight. You won't be able to put more than 2 +1 on each side.

Amazing!
If you are looking for a minimalists, slim and high quality wallet, look no further. I love it. While being compact, there is enough room for all the essentials.
