Needed USB-C charging capabilities with our updated electronics, and these are working great. I didn’t have any trouble installing them, and I like how quickly they charge. It’s nice to have both USB types, as well as the actual plug in outlet.

Maximize space and charge multiple usb(c) devices with one outlet

I installed this on the side of our kitchen island where we've destroyed multiple charging adapters due to sticking out into the path of people going in and out of the kitchen. This product solved the issue right away and for over a month has not shown any signs of USB socket looseness or connection issues. High quality and clean looking.

After installation, so far so good. These outlets will get frequent use, so I'll update as it sees more use.It is a bit wide inside a single-gang box, so be beware of clearance. I needed to insulate the hot & neutral screw heads with some electrical tape to prevent arcing to my metal box. A physically smaller unit would let me give it another star, but honestly it is totally reasonable unless you have a super-packed box.I checked voltage & output via a standard (cheap) USB power tester, and they show to be within spec (5.17 V) . Of course, actual device charging rates are highly variable, based on your device, its current battery charge, its battery health, its internal temperature, etc.I'll update this if anything changes.UPDATE: These are still working great for me. They show no wear despite a few years of use in my kitchen. Note that if you have less than stellar charging time, check your cable. Not all cables are equal - if your cables have more-than-tiny internal electrical resistance, you'll get lousy charging times no matter the charger you use. Cables with thin conductors or that are long often have problematic electrical resistance properties. See Ohm's Law for details.

I love that these offer her both outlets and USB and USB-C plugs in one spot. It just makes it so much easier.

The outlets are perfect on either side of our bed and night stands. Much less clutter of various charger cubes. Just a trim set of cables plugged into the outlet.

Good value and worked well. Nice terminals for wiring.

I have been remodeling a house that's almost 100 years old and adding these and strategic places. The one piece of advice I would give you is make sure the larger USB is too the side of the outlet not in the center. Get one with only one of those into USB C's. When I ordered one with two of the larger USBS they blocked the ability to use certain types of plugs in the outlet.

Easy and functional

Funcionan muy bien, aún no he podido comprobar el tiempo de carga para comparar con el cargador, pero funcionan muy bien. Lo único importante a considerar es que si vas a reemplazar una conexión normal es que las cajas tradicionales tienen menos profundidad que estas. Si tus cajas anteriores estaban muy justas, tendrás que ampliar la profundidad del espacio donde estaban para que quepan estas. Fuera de eso es la instalación normal.

Very easy to install and instructions were well written. The unit is a little large and had a bit of trouble getting it to fit in the junction box when there was two wires in there. The unit on the end of the line was okay and had no issue. The ground wire was a bit troublesome to get it around the screw, but otherwise it was not a problem. I suggest taping off the screws on the side of the unit as a safety in case they touch the box for whatever reason. All in all, great value.
