Excellent, affordable price
100 Miles Later, ThoughtsâI feel healthier, I look better, I've burned off some of my too-much-screentime pudge, I have finally grown a fat butt (in the good way).I started real slow, short bursts, going only until I started huffing/puffing. First time: level 1, 8 mph, made it 0.3 miles. [Yeah, I know, don't shame me.] I have physical disabilities: I cannot bike, run, swim, jump. This is the only repetitive-motion workout (machine) that does not cause me harm.Careful never to push myself: because if I got hurt using it, I know I would stop using it, for months. Slowly stepped myself up to faster/longer. By one month: level 1, 12 mph, nearly a mile. Now: level 2, 15 mph, 2 miles. [Hey, for someone who has been derelict for 12+ years... Don't judge me.] I use it at least twice a week, before I take a shower, having made it part of my routine. [Or if I am passing by and want to power through a quick mile, if I'm feeling like a fatty.]This elliptical has a shorter âgaitâ than others, looks a little odd. Consider: power walking looks silly, yet it works well, which is why people do it: same concept. Shift your weight slightly and use completely different muscles. If getting tired: twist instead at your knees, thighs, hips, waist, shoulders: work more of yourself, differently. Push/pull with your arms instead to relieve some pressure from the legs. An all-around decent workout.I did not need the Bluetooth-enabled display. I care only about how far I get at what speed, and don't need my phone judging me. [Or any insurance companies buying/selling my exercise progress.] Should you care about such things, or if you require an external source judging you: spend the extra money to track your progress. The motion is smooth, but occasionally the back-end starts getting a little âgrindyâ in tone, but that usually passes. I thought I was going to have to grease the gears, so to speak, when it started sounding worse for a few sessions, but that went away of a sudden one day and hasn't returned. The right handle clicks a bit if I grip the top-half, but again only intermittently. [A crack inside the handle, mayhap? Squeeze it just wrong and it can be heard.] Overall, this elliptical is not silent, but also not loud.Starting out from stagnancy is difficult/discouraging, but worth it, if you keep it up. Make it a part of your routine, do not push yourself too hard, and do not deviate (more than one skip-day here and not-often there). Run yourself a little less hard/long if you don't feel up to it, but do not quit. Quitters only grow fatter assess (in the bad way). For your health: here is a good, affordable, reliable choice.

Decent, convenient workout with a handful of drawbacks
I bought this 11 months ago because I didnât (and still don't, despite being fully vaccinated) feel safe exercising in a gym, and it can be too cold/hot to exercise outdoors. I also enjoy being able to exercise any time without worrying the gym is too busy, and I have to wait for a machine. So, despite the number of cons below, I still am glad I made this purchase.Pros: I can get a good workout with an elevated heart rate and some sweating. It is indeed compact, and has wheels if you need to move the machine. Low cost compared to other ellipticals. In terms of sturdiness, it still (knock on wood) is working fine after 11 months, and I use it 1-3x/week.Cons: It took an hour for me to just remove the tape from all the components. I swear you could have dropped the box from a 10-story building, and the contents would have remained taped together. Then it took 3 hours to assemble alone, though part of that was me constantly washing my hands to avoid getting grease on everything. Assembly wasn't technically difficult, but you had to pay particular attention to the details, and the pictures were very small. The trade-off for the compactness is the smaller stride. Iâm only 5â3â, so itâs not too bad for me, but many reviewers advise against this machine if youâre taller than 5â6â or so (knees would also hit the bars). Because the wheel is right below you, the footrests are spaced apart more than the ellipticals in the gyms, so itâs a bit uncomfortable, but I got used to it. Others have noted bolt loosening after workouts, and I do have that issue, but thankfully, it's only one of the bolts on the left handle. The black grease along the pedal joints started drying at some point and now flakes off onto the floor (and staining my rug beneath until I started putting paper beneath). You can apply WD40, but this dries out after only a few uses of the machine, so you have to keep re-applying, which is annoying. Those wheels that allow you to move the machine will scratch your hardwood floors (found that out the hard way), so I bought a large plywood sheet to place beneath on the occasion I have to move the machine. I havenât had an issue to warrant contacting customer service yet (knock on wood).

Great for the price, love it for weight loss!!
So I love this Elliptical for the quietness, and space saver it is, but perhaps this is just my unit but there is an exceeding amount of grease/oil at the joint where the left pedal meets the actual body of the elliptical. It's not a BIG deal but it gets everywhere for some reason after an intense workout, and it doesn't clean up easily. I assume over time this will lessen. I'm sure the thing is put together correctly, as the right foot has no issues, and was assembled the same way. I do also notice the left joint/body area loosens and gets louder over a few workouts, and I've had to re-tighten several times already. Again, for the price, this is no issue and I don't mind tightening it occasionally.Building this was a bit time consuming and the biggest issue I had was the tension cable attachment, as you're almost forced the break the darn thing to get it to work. I watched videos, but it always seemed like they had more slack that this tension cable (yes it was at the lowest tension as the directions indicate, but it wasn't enough). I made it work and I was cursing all the way. Works fine, and all the other elements work well.Overall I'd give this a 4/5 for some odd quirks but the quietness, ease of use and how good of a workout it gives, it's a worthwhile purchase, just make sure you put down something especially if you're on carpet for my note above.***Update: I received great support from Sunny and confirmed it was put together correctly and the grease should dissipate over time but did offer replacement parts if need be. Now a 5/5 is definitely deserved!
