For our purposes, these are great. My grandson helps me in the garden. He blackberry plants and is protected from the thorns. He is able to hold the stem to pull those long roots. He handles all the tools with ease.

The gloves that saved my hand.
The day after these arrived I went to work, and I tried these bad boys for the first time. Very comfortable fit, nice thick patting, just what I needed. And then… it happened… In a freak accident at work, my hand got pinned under a 1,000 pound piece of heavy equipment, I screamed in agony as my coworkers rushed to get the forklift to lift the load off my hand. Seconds felt like hours, then finally, they lifted the load off and I pulled my hand out. I removed the impact glove expecting my hand to be mangled, crushed, broken into several pieces. Fast forward to rushing me to the hospital and undergoing xrays, the nurse tells me, “would you like to see the xrays?” Without telling me the results. I prayed to God that it would just be a few broken bones. And… Lord behold, not even a fracture!!! Nothing! Suuuuper swollen, but no bone damage! I couldn’t believe it! I broke down in tears, that day 2 things saved me: God grace and these impact gloves! Needless to say, got more than my money’s worth! This is a stark reminder, always remember to wear your PPE! Shout out to all my blue-collared family, be safe out there boys!

Greatly reduces vibrations from affecting the hands
Got these for my Mom who has CRPS. She uses these while using the riding lawn mower and these gloves have greatly reduced the vibrations she feels. Usually after she would do the lawn, the vibrations would bother her for the rest of the day, but not anymore. They are a little big on her but it doesn’t bother her too much. The material feels like good quality. I highly recommend this for people who are sensitive to vibrations in their hands.

Perfect fit. UPDATE-Been using these for lawn care, and the shock pads are very nice. The top finger protection has saved them many times from branches and stones.
