I have 2 audio interface that uses USB-C. Both have connectors only in the back where it's a several hour process to get to the connector. I have 2 computers. One of the computers is also in a rack and is about an hour long process to get to the USB-C port. Yeah, I don't know why I went this route... Anyhow, I bought some USB-C cables for all 4 endpoints, and pre-ran them to a common spot, tied them together, and needed something to patch them togethere - that is where this comes in. It's a complete win, connects the cables together with no fuss, no noise, no problems; even has a handy, small, indicator light that it's involved. I don't know about passing power through it, not my use case, but otherwise, this is exactly what I need to relieve several hours of effort and save wear and tear on my USB-C ports

I originally thought these didn't work, but I was wrong - THEY DO WORK! I tried them with numerous cables, and I never got a signal. Was setting up a return of them and went looking for another brand of connector, which is when I found a fascinating video by that other brand (whose name is almost a Scottish pudding). In the video, it showed that if there was no signal when the USB-C cables are both plugged in, unplug one cable, rotate it by 180º, and plug it back in. Voila, it works! I had NO idea that there was a sided-ness to USB-C cables, but I sure understand it now in a very functional way. So, yeah, these connectors are pretty cool!

Usable but not perfect, every 5 or so plug attempts don't register, at least the LED lets you know that the connection is good. I moved my new workstation under my desk and it only took me minutes to lose my patience bending down to reach a port to plug in a Yubikey ( https://www.amazon.com/Yubico-Two-factor-authentication-security-certified/dp/B08DHL1YDL/ ) or to swipe a CAC card ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JK8LQ4P/ ). I have two brand new cables I can use to basically extend these two ports to somewhere more convenient on my desktop, but then I get stuck with two male ports. These adapters were just right for the job. Like I said earlier, they do work, but it's sort of a coin toss because one in 5-6 plug attempts fails. And the price is right.

This simple piece plus one other cable allowed me to connect my Viture Luma Pro glasses to my PC.

I don’t know how these were getting five star reviews. I couldn’t get them to work at all. I wanted a refund but for some reason Amazon sent me two more. Now after looking at the description I see they have printed in red that you might have to reverse the orientation of the cable to get them to work. WHY? A type C connector should be a type C connector. I wasted a lot of time with these connectors because I couldn’t get power to a camera because I had to extend a cable. They seem like junk to me.

Worked like a charm. I use them to charge my portable charger using an existing long cord. Saves me from having crawl under desk to plugin

Works on everything I tested these on. Just remember, if the little blue light doesn't come on unplug and flip one of the chords, the orientation of both cables needs to match, the couplers won't do that unfortunately but the light makes it easy.

I bought these specifically for use at work where I could plug in my charger and at the other side of the conference room still be able to charge my phone / laptop using the 2 x 2m USB c cables I already had in my bag. These are rated even higher than the 65W I need to charge my laptop and work perfectly

Power and data are flowing nicely. Can't give a comment on the data rate, since I'm not using powerful enough devices to check. Little led on both sides give a clear indication of power passing through. Seems it doesn't get hot, but again, I'm not using it at full capacity. Fit and finish is very nice looking, the cables are firmly attached and the metallic body is strong.
