I use this spray to redefine a curl at the end of the day before heading out to an event or after a sleep the next morning. It works quite well giving the right boost without tackiness or obvious build up of product. On a washed hair day I use Quidad humidity gel so this combo is just right. The scent isn't bad at all but it does read a little strong when I'd prefer to use perfume to umph my overall scent.

I have mild waves and this really does bring them back to life the next day. Very pleased.

First, use a spray mister, then prayer hands.Then spray this product on your curls. Prayer hands and scrunch to the root.Next, USE A HEAT PROTECTANCT (this product does not protect against heat).Last step, diffuse on low setting.I have gone through about 4-5x of these and I have this product on a subscription service. :)

I have had straight hair all of my life....52 years In my 20's I had maybe some very slight wave after a couple days when my hair was long, but now after incorporating OUIDAD Botanical Boost Curl Energizing & Refreshing Spray into my haircare routine, I have some wonderfully soft big loose waves that allow me to switch up my look. I usually apply when my hair is damp, with a bit of hair oil, thickening spray, and a couple of other OUIDAD products, but it is the OUIDAD Botanical Boost Curl Energizing Spray that allows me to refresh my waves and curls several days afterwards. I absolutely love this product, the scent, and the waves it produces. I would totally recommend this product to anyone looking to give there hair a Botanical Boost of curl.

I do love this product in how it feels on my hair, especially to refresh curls that have been smushed overnight... but I have to say the smell is gross. If one is sensitive to odors, it is the same fragrance or very similar to the lotion that it seems is popular among older women, that odd combination of fresh diaper with some mix of baby powder fragrance. It's not a pleasant odor at all. The scent does fade a bit as the product dries, so it won't go in the trash. But I will not be purchasing it again unless they change the fragrance. Briogio and Curlsmith both make a similar product that does not smell like a pack of diapers. Please, Ouidad, change the scent. Your products are usually awesome, but none of them stink like this cheap diaper perfume whatever smell.

I use Botanical Boost on my 2c/3a hair every morning whether I'm going curly or wearing a wavy roller-set style. I originally got this when I purchased the 3-product Ouidad Expert Curl Kit over a year ago when beginning to use the Ouidad product line. It has rice proteins and aloe in it which is great for keeping moisture in your hair. Smells good too! I've learned that for my hair I need to apply an oil after using Botanical Boost to seal it and really lock in that moisture. Once I've sealed it, the Botanical Boost locks in moisture and keeps my curls nice and fresh (I seal with a little Jojoba oil or either Ouidad's Climate Control Frizz and Flyaway Fighter). If I don't seal after using the Botanical Boost, my hair tends to look dry which makes it appear dull even though it is moist to touch but is lacking that moisturizing sheen I adore. Smells good, soft non gross curls

If you like smelling like wet dog this is the product for you. I am definitely a dog person and I was even Team Jacob but this stink is out of control. I was asked to quit my part time job at the vet due to the fact that half the dogs want to hump me and the other half want to kill me. The cats are now hissing and attacking me and Ol Lady Jenkins keeps trying to lure me into a trap when I walk home.
