A must for your health n wellness cabinet
Use for all the family when colds start to emerge. Never toxic to the body - just stop when it causes loser bowel movements as you know you will have reached your maximum dose.

Seems good but needs dosage information
The dosage instructions say you should take a "headed teaspoon (1 gram)".What is a headed teaspoon? A HEAPED teaspoon equals 7.5 grammes so it's not that. There's no scoop in the bag. How much actual ascorbic acid is there in one gram of sodium ascorbate? Dunno. How much is there in a heaped teaspoon? Dunno. If you don't mind taking an unknown dosage of vitamin C, then this stuff appears to be good value for money. It tastes mildly salty but not unpleasant. The taste is fully disguised in fruit juice and I personally find the taste acceptable in water.

No scoop
Product was delivered in time and intact.tastes ok,in orange juice.i thought it would of come with a scoop so that was disappointing to find there wasn't one.time will tell how good it is.

Good stuff, kinder than Ascorbic Acid, and affordable; I can see why it's out of stock now!
Being buffered, this won't cause tooth corrosion and/or cause much gut irritation, and may also improve absorption by the gut. The Sodium is not a problem, it never was; that nonsense came from a shameful century old Salt myth.1Kg may seem a lot, but it isn't, humans may actually need about 12 gram per day for optimal normal health (spread across a day), not the pathetically small, sub-gram, bare-scurvy avoidance amount the NHS recommends; you can determine your optimum amount by gradually increasing your dose from, say, one gram per day until it causes diarrhoea, then back off a little.Eating vegetation, especially carbohydrates, can significantly increase Vitamin C and B's requirements, due to significantly higher consumption for detoxifying plant anti-nutrients and ATP production waste from carbohydrates, than for animal foods, so fasting, or being mostly a carnivore, can significantly reduce requirements of these; probably a good idea if you are sick.If you are sick or injured (including from dental work or other surgery), don't be surprised if you can then tolerate 10's of grams more per day, before diarrhoea occurs; fighting disease and repairs can require a lot more Vitamin C for fastest action; this may make a life or death difference for some serious disease or injury!

Good quality
I use vitamin C to support the immune system against infections / colds etc. I buy the powder so that it gives me the choice of dissolving it in water or I can make it into capsules to swallow which is useful if away from home. This is the second time I have ordered from this company and found their product of good quality.

Coeliacs beware
No qualms with the quality of the product itself, but if you have Coeliac Disease, it says on the back of the packet it that it was manufactured on equipment that is exposed to gluten.I got sick after a scoop and discovered this little detail when I went hunting for the reason why.
