This makes a teachers job EASY!
My students had trouble quickly remembering the multiplication tables. I tried playing this unannounced and said nothing...I simply turned it on to see the students reaction. They all came to my desk for a closer look and began singing along without prompting. I stayed silent just observing. Within 5 minutes they were not only singing along but dancing. This really is effective and they think it is just a song and a fun thing rather than work. Buy one and see for yourself. I am glad I did...and so are the children's parents.

Great tool for a child learning multiplication tables
I got this for my 9 yr old granddaughter who at the time was having trouble learning her multiplication tables. She loves music so she would watch and sing along. Before long she was singing the tables without realizing she could. I would sing and suddenly stop, she would continue to repeat her tables without realizing. It was so easy for her. Thanks so much.

The actual photos of the men singing/playing don't look good as they are standing in front of a "weird" background and it looks a little geeky. Also the singer moves unnaturally. But the numbers and message are good.

It does the job, but without much excitement
After having great experiences using Leap frog videos when my kids were smaller I thought this video would be great to have in the car, so that I could say, "Yes, you may watch a DVD." but also have them learning. It's pretty cheesy, not very engaging, and repetitive, (which yes, I understand is the nature of math facts). My kids are 10,8,6. The 10 year old already knows her multiplication facts, but I hoped it would be exciting enough that she wouldn't mind the refresher. She did. It's boring.

It's educational but doesn't hold my kids attention very well.
It's educational but doesn't hold my kids attention very well. They watched it a couple of times but they rather see other educational videos we have [...]) . I think its approach is a bit below their level (My kids are 6 and 8 years old).

Hideous but child likes it
Bought this for 2yo who is on the last series of Numberblocks (which unexpectedly contained multiplication). No expectation of her learning them at this stage, she just likes numbers and I thought she'd be into it.A band of terrifyingly chipper rockers stands in front of a green screen and sing some very similar songs decorated with a psychodelic background reminiscent of the screensavers we used to have back in the nineties.2yo thinks it's brilliant, she dances around the room and tries to sing along. What can I say, can't argue with the boss.
