Why Not?: A Story about Discovering Our Bright Possibilities

i am a woman in my 30s and i bought this for MYSELF because i fell absolutely in love with yamada's other book "Maybe". the simple, beautiful story mixed with the GORGEOUS illustrations by barouch makes these 2 books the most BEAUTIFUL books that i own.i wish that yamada used barouch for all of his books as i do not like the illustrations of his other books by different illustrators.i cannot recommend these two books enough. they are just stellar.the first book i received was damaged in transit but i contacted amazon and they promptly sent me out a replacement in that arrived in perfect condition. i am SO SO SO happy to own these breath-taking, stunningly beautiful and comforting/inspiring books.Do not let the cover fool you! This book is NOT just for children. This is something that can and will certainly be enjoyed by people of all ages. I am desperately hoping for more yamada/barouch works in the future.A++++++

Kobi Yamada's books are for all ages as he reminds each reader that their life matters...make the most of it. And once again, he shares that message with joy by teasing us to go for it..Why not! He sees in each us of the beauty, the joy, the power of our own uniqueness, the potential of who we are and who we can be. I love his books...and my wish would be that every child everywhere has the opportunity to not only read, but assimilate the messages he brings to them. I congratulate him and his incredible artists for being the messenger the world needs today.

Inspirational, with such beautiful illustrations and so helpful if you are trying to instill a desire in children to discover their life mission embracing the idea that they are capable of accomplishing it. Just enough text with 1-6 lines being the most on any page. Readers from 7 and up could handle this text.
