The rope feels really nice and soft. I'm questioning the durability of the leather attachments because I just got it and already fraying a bit. I'm also not happy with how weak the clasp is. The part that opens is loose and the spring securing it is very weak. I wouldn't trust this with the security of my dog. I'm planning on just cutting the clasp off and replacing it with a durable carabiner.

Our dog is a strong Dal and I use this for the times that she wants to go to the farm store with me.. or Petco. She has pulled on it, but with the braided sturdiness, it doesn’t cut/rip my hands like some of the thinner leashes used to.. (when she yanked on them) Usually she doesn’t pull, but if she wants to check out something or a squirrel outside, she will yank at it. High quality. Would purchase again.

Great leash for about 2 Weeks. Then the bond in the loop started to split. After another week the bonded/sewn loop parted. It was then not useable. My dog is 30 lbs and is a shadow walker so I really doubt she caused the leash to break. Maybe there was a defect in the bond.

This is a great leash and I have loved it, but it didn't even last a month! My dog got a hold of it when I didn't see him and he literally chewed through the handle and now it's unusable. The only thing it's good for now is tug-a-rope. Argh!!! Why can't I find a good, sturdy, heavy duty leash that a dog can't chew through! This is the 5th leash I've purchased and my dog has managed to destroy all of them. I thought for sure that I had finally found one with this leash but notta. This leash is well made, the handle is very comfortable and it's the perfect length for me when I walk him. I'm in a wheelchair so it's just right. But if you're' like me trying to find a solid leash that can't be chewed through, keep looking because this one won't work. If that's not your concern, then I highly recommend this one!

So, the leash seems good enough. I mean, it’s a simple rope leash. It seems to be put together well and the clip is high quality. My problem is the “leather” pieces. In the picture, they look brown. Like normal brown leather. They are greenish in person and look really cheap. I just needed a simple leash and wanted a rope leash and thought this looked like an attractive one. I’m a little bummed out though because it’s kind of ugly. As far as working as a leash, it works. At least on my 30lb 14 week old goldendoodle puppy.

Leash is great so far. It’s light weight, looks good and is comfortable to hold. It’s held up so far after being abused by our German Shepard’s tugging and pulling. I don’t know how strong the bolt snap is but it feels incredibly light weight. I would prefer a heavier duty one for added confidence and durability. I would recommend this leash if your dog is tame and trained. If you got a bid dog that tugs and pulls a lot, I probably wouldn’t feel to comfortable trusting it’s durability.

This is a great inexpensive leash. We go the classic black because we got our dog a fancy color and didn't want it to be overwhelming. We ordered the 6 foot one which is a little long, I would have preferred 5 feet because I often wrap a part of it around my hand/wrist, but even then it is comfortable and feels sturdy even when our 75 pound dog may suddenly run after a squirrel and yanks on it.

We love this leash! The fact that it is still intact after a year of puppy abuse is amazing! We got our puppy at 9 weeks, and she was 16 lbs. She is now almost a year old, and she weighs almost 70 lbs. Her hobbies include LONG frequent walks and runs with this leash. It's been a challenge to get her to stop biting her leashes and trying to play tug a war. Other leashes would have shredded when faced with razor sharp puppy teeth, but not this one. I highly recommend it! If this leash eventually tires or we lose it, we will be back to purchase another.
