MAXDONE Wildlife Camera 4K 64MP with Night Vision Motion Activated

Exactly what i was after. This compact waterproof camera produces very high quality images and is very easy to setup. Battery lasts a lot longer than first thought. The night vision is very good, very impressed. We have put ours to watch a garden pond and it has been fantastic to see the comings and goings especially at night. I have tried both options for mounting the camera, both very stable. For the price, this you cannot go wrong with this camera. Links to my phone via the app with ease. Great bit of kit.

You could say this is my 5th Trail Camera. The first I had some 15 or so years ago and it quite was basic. I broke the link to the tripod but continued to use it for a while. My second was very heavy on batteries and died after 3 years use. My 3rd, although advertised as a Trail Cam turned out to be a security cam which is ok but not really suitable for my needs. My 4 was a disaster and quite expensive . It was also advertised as a trail cam but was more of a security camera. When I downloaded the app it even said, “Welcome to your new Security Camera”!! It was supposed to be 4G but would not connect to my system at all. So let’s say I am , if only a amateur, getting to be quite a expert on Trail Cams This time I decided to go to something in a lower price range. It is simple to set up and comes with everything you need. It uses a rechargeable battery so no more buying endless batteries. I had a little trouble formatting the SD card ( also supplied) but I think that was because my brain had had a long day. I have it set up outside my house covering a bird feeder dish and within 24 hours have had excellent pictures of day and night time visitors. You do have to be quite near the camera with your phone to get a connection but that is so much more easily done than with others I have tried. If you want a simple, easy to use Trail Cam, I can recommend this one.

Don’t listen to any negativity, this is a fantastic bit of kit for the money and it caught my pond thief in the first night, easy set up and clarity is great , beautiful tawny owl catching a frog! Saying that , it won’t let me upload the video but that could be an Amazon issue!

This trail cam is packed with features. I have been very impressed with its ability to capture clear footage of the creatures that frequent my garden. Setting up was easy, taking less than than ten minutes and I am able to use it with both my phone and my tablet (after installing the dedicated app). In daylight the camera works well. It can be challenged by mixed lighting such as bright highlights and shadows together, but it does well to capture the action. Best quality is achieved when the light is even such as bright cloudy conditions. The night-time footage is impressive. Clarity is amazing via its infrared system which captures the scene to around four to five metres from the camera before the image becomes dark. Enough to grab the action effortlessly. I love being able to connect to the cam from inside my home even through glass and wall, a distance of around seven to eight metres. Bring able to view the videos and photos on my phone or tablet, and download them in seconds is brilliant. Battery life is good. Leaving it on constantly gives me around three days use, but switching the unit off when you're not using it (for example during the day when night-time creatures are not around) means the battery will last all week or longer. Recharging using my phone charger is easy and quick. In terms of weather proofing, I've had the cam out all night in a long rain shower and it just shrugged it off. If I had one wish for improvement it would be that the camera lens be able to focus much closer than it can. If you're hoping to capture close-up video of birds in your bird bath for example (so the bird fills the frame), this unit will not meet your expectations. The closest I can get it to focus is around two and half metres meaning the video will capture a general scene only. I would happily pay extra for a cam that can focus a few inches away. Maybe a switchable two lens set-up could be the answer. All in all, for the price this is a great trail cam.

I recently purchased this wildlife camera and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. The picture and video quality are crystal clear, even at night. The motion detection works perfectly and captures animals quickly without missing important moments. The camera is also very easy to set up and has excellent battery life, which is great for long outdoor use. It’s durable, weatherproof, and works reliably in all conditions. I’ve captured amazing footage of deer, foxes, and birds in my garden and nearby woods. Overall, this is a fantastic wildlife camera for nature lovers, hunters, or anyone interested in outdoor photography. Highly recommended!

It's simple to connect to the 'Trail Go' app and change the settings to how you prefer. I was gifted one of these for Christmas 2025 and later ordered 2 more myself as it was so easy to setup with the strap and leave running once charged. It captures anything and everything that passes by and it's easy to review via the app or via USB to your PC. The night vision works well and is sharp as well as the daytime camera and it's already been through a few rain storms and still works perfectly! You may want to wipe it down if possible after raining if you can access it but if not, it dries off fairly quickly and has a clear camera once again soon.

The images and quality of the 1080p camera is outstanding, so clear and colour clarity, didn't realise I was going bald on top until I saw myself on video. Camera looks good and compact, easy to install, took a couple of minutes. Trigger speed and detection range excellent both day and night with infra red. Connects straight away with Bluetooth, loads video automatically, all round great product. Enjoy the wildlife

This camera was recommended to me and I'm very pleased with it. Had a few set up problems but the company were very helpful and it was easily sorted. I've set this up to capture the visiting hedgehogs but it's amazing how many other night time visitors there are to my garden. Lovely clear photos and the battery life is fantastic. I found it a little complicated to set up (probably me rather than the camera) but now it's all set up how I want it, it's absolutely perfect. It's easy to connect to and view and download the photos and videos. My only disappointment is that you have to be fairly close to the camera to download footage but I would have liked to have accessed it remotely when I was away. But it's still an excellent camera.
