Plants say they're good!
I'm gonna have to give these a solid 5, even though I have or had anything to compare them too other than sunlight itself. I bought a couple of these lights in the beginning as my wife, an avid gardener was bemoaning that with the onset of early winter here in the midwest there were a lot of plants that were destined an early death. I set them up in the basement so she could overwinter some of her faves and the plants never seemed to miss a beat. Everything is looking great, they are extremely bright and they are not that horrible "blurple" color than I am not a fan of. I was so impressed with the quality of not only the fixture but the light output that I purchased a couple more units. One to add additional coverage to her "garden" and one for myself to have a go at growing some of my favorite hot peppers.I have seen comments about these lights being and running hot. I have no idea what their idea of hot is but I am surprised by actually how cool these fixtures run. After 12 hours the housing is just warm, as in luke warm. The fans are little bit on the loud side but not anywhere near what I would consider obnoxious. As I said, they are just warm so obviously they are doing the job at keeping everything cool...heat is the enemy of LEDs so I am expecting these to hold up for quite some time. I will update if they prove to have any issues but as of now I can definitely recommend these as a quality unit for the price and oh yeah, they're bright as hell if I didn't already say that! :)

Bugs can get in there pretty easy
Great light at first but. Lady bugs got in and the lights arced creating holes in the plastic. I was pretty dissapointed. Took it down for safety reasons.

They work! Awsome value for the $ and better quality than viparspectra
Used 2 of the 450w in a 3x3 at my legal home grow in MA. Wanted to grow my own medicine for a long time and knew my medical card was expiring soon so I bought two of these amd a 3x3 tent. These lights are awsome for a beginner or for anyones veg. Tent. They obviously work for flowering and the added red lights come into play more in bloom, but there are better spectrums out there for flowering stage. At this price these are probably the best quality lights around. I used 1 for most of Veg., then turned my 2nd one on and spread out the lights for the final few weeks of veg. The instructions say not to run them for 24 hrs straight, but I did. My plants did GREAT for 8 weeks in a row with these lights on 24 hours a day. Thats right, these lights were on for 8 straight weeks. Im flowering under 11 on 13 off as its my belief that most plants give a fuller expression vs. 12/12. Also i think cuz of the 24 hr veg cycle I did that when the lights finally went off for the first time, it caused the plants to start showing flowers quicker than a 18/6 schedule, but only by a few days. Im at week 6 of bloom right now and have had tons of people comment on IG how healthy my plamts have been from about the 4th week of veg. to where theyre at now. In my ideal setup with these lights I would use 4 of them in a 5x5. Each one only pulls 200W from the wall so you could have 4 monster plants in a 5x5 all on less than 1000w of power ;)

Best light in its class and price range.
Great little light. Great ballence d spectrum. I own very exspensive high powered lights and this little light is one of my favorites. Covers a 2x4 area pretty well and the plants really love the ballence of wavelengths. I'd very highly reccomend this light to any type of grower.

Film
This light is fine, however as soon as I used mine it got like a film inside of the glass/plastic. I'm not sure if it's affecting the brightness or not but I can tell you it really freaking bothers me!

Just buy it!! Awesome light!
This isn't my first led from amazon I have a 1500w cob and a 600w cob but this 450w has a great full spectrum and it's very bright 3 of these would be perfect for a 4x4 tent I think the red cree leds are really gona help during flower from what I've seen on amazon this light is a great buy with great quality**update:I'm 4 weeks into flowering and this light is amazing it does run a little hot I suggest taking off the plastic shield and running proper ventilation/fans. I'm running 4 lights in my 4x4 but I have an ipower 6inch exhaust on all day and oscillating fans of course heats gona build up there cobs it's only a 100$ light but for that you get an awesome full spectrum and 2 built in fans so if your on a budget this light is a great bang for the buck dont listen to any negative reviews your not gona find much better in the price range espically since these have the far red cree diodes for flowering

Runs hot
Update: The light emitted from this is so bright that I never truly looked at it since I’ve had it plugged in. However, I was in the room when my plant timer shut off and looked up to notice the lights have melted the plexiglass. Not sure when this first appeared but glad I finally noticed!I am fairly new to hydroponics and wanted a light that's wasn't an obnoxious bright purple. This has been a fun little experiment growing different hot peppers and tomatoes from seed indoors longer until ready to plant outside. I have had no issues with this light so far. Mine does not run very hot. The fans work great. I run my light on a timer 18/6 every day so far. I'll update my review if a problem arises or it's still going strong.

Best bang for your buck
Decent lights..burn out pretty quick though. My 450W unit died after 5 months of use. Customer service is silent.
