I only have cockatiels so my birds are quite light. I wouldn’t use this for a large parrot. But this was easy to put together, the price is really great. The perch is light so I can move it to room to room with me. It packs up easily if you have to travel. I highly recommend this product for smaller parrot breads.

super poorly made. the perch doesn't screw on to the top screw, the hole is too large and the perch just ...sits on top of it. the screws to tighten the telescoping parts are mismatched and look like they were randomly put in, the nut to one of them was missing on receipt and now the top part is too loose to stay extended. the whole thing is cheap and flimsy too.

The ad photo for this perch featuring macaws is misleading. I have a Citron Cockatoo and I had to use gorilla glue to keep the perch on the tripod. The notch that goes into the perch isn’t long enough for the threads to catch and hold when screwed on. And the cup system is cute if you have really small birds. Other than that, it’s a convenient system because it folds up quickly and neatly, very portable.

We bought this perch for our Amazon parrot thinking she'd be able to look outside of the window in our living room. We were excited to put the bird on the stand, it looks great. But once the bird took off from the stand, it kicks the perch off balance and fall down. This happens every time because the stand can't withheld the power of a bird flying off. The perch was light weighted. It only allows you putting the bird on it, but not allow the bird flying in or out because it guarantee to fall. I would recommend it if your bird will perch on, and stay there, this is a nice stand just for that.

Although the stand is sturdy, the perch is not. I bought this in May, and without using it I set it up. After about a month when the weather turned less favorable I tried to use it for my birds. To my surprise the wooden perch would not secure to the mast of the stand. The complete fault is in the fabrication of the perch connection point, with the screw not long enough the access the threads of the perch, rendering this perch completely useless. Be advised.

This is a really great inexpensive perch for a conure. My fella really likes it. It adjusts to be pretty high, which birds appreciate being higher up. The small cups that come with it are a perfect size for conures too. No complaints.

This was great while it lasted. We’ve had this for literally 5 weeks. Of course it breaks one week after the return window. The bolt on the tripod stand is made of aluminum. The receiving nut on the perch is made of steel. So in just the little bit of time we’ve used this with our Amazon (who is naturally on the small side at just under 1 lb) the bolt has stripped out and now is not usable. There is no way to even try and repair it as this piece is fused to the tripod stand.
