I got this Automatic Domino Truck for my 3-year-old son, who absolutely loves playing with toys, and this one was no exception. Setting it up was relatively quick and easy. The domino truck requires 3 AA batteries (not included), and after assembling the domino mixer and loading up the dominoes, it was ready to go. The toy is kid-safe with smooth, round edges and no sharp corners, which is great for young children. My son didn't quite let the truck run its course as he enjoyed knocking down the dominoes as soon as they were set up, which was a bit frustrating but understandable for his age. The set includes 102 dominoes, barricades, and traffic cones, although we didn't use the latter two. The domino truck is durable and robust, a necessity since it gets knocked around during play. I believe my son will appreciate this toy more as he matures. It works best on hard floors like laminate or vinyl. One thing to note is not to overfill the domino mixer, as it can jam. I found that adding 4-5 dominoes at a time worked best. But my son really enjoyed playing with it and I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

The train lays dominoes best on a hard floor but I rarely got 8 laid in a row before the unit jammed or there was a gap between the next lot of dominoes.When it works well, the 8 dominoes are perfectly spaced so they fall as they should. However, the next 8 are either too far away or the unit jams. More than 8 dominoes also jams the unit. The hopper is designed so it will only hold a small number of dominoes with any others falling out. On the side of the hopper it says 8 max but in the info, it suggests only 3-6 dominoes at any time.For me, the train moves too quickly so you have to hurriedly put more dominoes in the hopper and you end up with a jam again.So I found it all a little disappointing. I will keep trying and also watching out for more reviews to see if others have more success.

This little toy has lots to keep little people engaged in play. The sounds and moveable pieces provide plety of action and holds a chikds interest. My grandson loves it. Great gift idea
