I did not notice that the particular carafe only worked with specific Soda Stream models. There are different sized bottle openings that work only with certain models, not all are interchangeable. The ones I received did not fit at all on the model I have. Sadly I thought I was reordering my pervious carafe and I wasn't. I think that point should have been more obviously clear in the descriptions to avoid ordering the wrong one. At least the return coverage costs will be taken care of through Amazon. That part I do appreciate.

These are great bottles and I was excited to receive them. However, the discription was unclear as to what devices it would fit. Unfortunately​, I these bottles did not fit sodastream and I couldn't find an adaptor.

Glass is the way to go!

These are nice bottles but the lids do not seal and keep the CO2 in. I ended up taking the seals out of my old plastic bottles and using them to help seal the lids. I have one of the original Sodastream systems and I did get the bottles to fit, but I had to cut out part of the lower portion of the system so the bottles would swing all the way in.

These don't work with the Terra or E-Terra models but I bought an adapter which works perfectly. For when you're too fancy to drink out of plastic or worries about failures in the plastic bottle over time, these are really nice. The caps are knurled for a better feel than the smooth caps on the plastic bottles, and there's the standard dense foam ring in the cap for a really good seal. Definitely recommend these for a higher quality alternative than the OEM plastic bottles, but require adapters for some models.
