The deli has nothing over me
I have finally found an excellent slicer that is very close to what the deli uses only a little smaller but does the same job. It is sleek and powerful and easy to set up and even easy to clean. It is a great addition for anyone who slices. It is super easy to operate.

Needs more Power
not that great of a slicer. it boggs down when slicing a corned beef and recently bought Italian bread just to see how it sliced bread. made clean slices but the motor slows down even on bread so i think it needs more power to slice it properly. would not reccomend this slicer.

don't bother
Go with another brand. Flimsy, cheap, not worth the bother. Backing causes uneven slices, weak motor. Sent back the same day.

Not a very good choice, motor sounds like it's comming apart. Should've went with a well known brand.
would not recommend this product to anybody, I've used it once and will get rid of it as soon as I can.

"HOME" SLICER
My initial response would have been great; as the unit was delivered from the seller in a very short time. ( A week less then anticipated.) But, after less than thirty (30) minutes of use,(Not continously) the motor died. Following the warranty card instructions, I packaged the unit in its' original box and shipped it to the manufacturer. After a week I E-Mailed them to check on status. I was informed that I should have called them first. (Not noted on card) Once this was clarified the process was handled very well and I received a new unit. I am certainly grateful for the assistance and followup by their customer service. All I can say about the slicer is that it seems fine and I will use it for any (light duty) slicing jobs I will have.

Steer clear of this one. No good!
Pro: It's sharp. The design makes it fairly easy to clean. The rest are cons! The meat tray does not go close enough to the blade, so when you are slicing something like ham or sausage, the blade spin pushes the meat down and you get horribly uneven cutting. Even without using the tray and using my hands (don't try at home!), I found it wasn't very uniform with cutting. It came with a tray to catch the cut product, but I still can't really figure out where it fits. It's just there, but doesn't do much. The cut product winds up fallin on the back of the slicer, and eventually to the counter below. The power switch is horrible. It doesn't turn on unless you mess with it a lot, and then it doesn't turn off unless you mess with it again. The meat tray slider is really sticky. I tried lubing it up with some vegetable oil, but that didn't help much. The meat pusher is a plastic joke. It doesn't hold on well at all. Don't waste your money! It's horrible.

DOA
I purchased this product in January and finally took it out of the box for Easter. It won't work and I am outside the return policy for the vendor I bought it from. Fleetfarm.com. I wish I had tested it out earlier but I've never bought a product that didn't work brand new before. Update. I took the slicer apart and isolated the problem to a bad switch. The assembly quality is poor. The mount for the motor was not installed correctly (this would not stop it from working but would allow the plastic gear that turns the blade to float. There was also internal damage (cosmetic) as though the bottom was forced on. Once I find a replacement switch it should be good to go (hopefully).
