SureFit Stretch Jacquard Damask Dining Chair, Oyster

My cat mistook 2 of my $350/each dining room chairs for scratching posts. Needless to say, not the look I'm going for, especially since I just bought the set less than 2 years ago and was trying to avoid buying new chairs. I began researching options and came across these chair covers. I ordered 2 and did not set my hopes high but figured I'd give them a try. Well, let me tell you, I just saved myself $700 and my chairs look beautiful! It took less than a minute to put them on, the material is soft and stretchy, the fit is perfect for my chairs, the jacquard damask print is beautiful and the gray color is exactly what I needed. The fact that they are machine washable and extremely affordable is a bonus. Although I haven't experienced any slipping or sliding, I appreciate the velcro strap for underneath the chair, that helps to hold the slipcover in place. I'm most amazed by how well they fit and how nice they look! Be sure to read the measurement information in the product description and make sure your chair fits the bill. Otherwise, you may have to order a different slipcover. Fortunatelty, the measurements for this specific slipcover matched my chairs perfectly. There is generous stretch so my chairs could have been about 1/2 an inch to an inch bigger all around and this cover would have still worked for me. However, if your chair is too small to accomodate these measurements, I imagine you'd have sagging and it would not look as nice. Measurements are key here for the intended look and use. If I'm ever in need of more slipcovers, I will definitely purchase Surefit brand again. It's great quality and a brilliant product idea!

This chair cover is very beautiful, fits my dining chair very well.The only thing is only one has belt to hold the cover to not to slip away while you are sitting on the chair.All three had no belts so they will slip away while you are sitting.I'm thinking to put a belcro.But they look good to my dining chairs.My chairs looks like new.

Easy to put in and it fit my chair very well. The tag is see through if you look close enough but that can be cut. There are straps that tie together to keep the cover in place but the stretch of the straps makes the sides buckle. So far the cover hasn't moved around and fits fine so I don't need the straps but fyi. Overall I like it and will be getting more for my other chairs!!

giving three stars because it doesn't fit that great plus seams are coming undone couple months later without being washed once. The fabric is very thin and cheap.

We needed new chair covers. We ordered quite a few and let me say that barring these, none of them looked like they look online. The others we got were thin, and the patterns and colors did NOT look like they appeared online. These, however, look exactly as they appear online. They look great on the chairs and wash relatively well. We're happy with them.

This would not fit my chair and ripped when I just tried to put it onto the chair. It is a burnout material like a shirt. Totally worthless waste of money. Description should note that the width of the slipcover only fit a chair which is 12 inches wide because that is the size of the cover I just received.

These are great slipcovers. They definitely have tell tell slipcover signs and you will have to rework them in the seat area after extensive sitting, but it's not a big deal. I can take them off when grandkids come to visit. If you don't want to get new chairs immediately, these are a great solution. Super easy to put on!

The jacquard looks nicer than the check covers that get a higher rating if you're looking into these on Amazon. We bought both. But- the check fits better. The jacquard is an inch or so shorter/ too short and as other reviews say it only has a Velcro strap going one way across the bottom of the chair not both like the check so you can't stretch and force it to stay down - won't tighten as much as the check. However the color matches and I just squeezed the jacquard over the check and the little one inch that was showing is now just a little of the check - it is facing the other way in the eat in kitchen tucked under the bar so it's mainly the top of the chair I see so it is okay for me but this would not be ok in a dining area or if your bar were Facing the main living area. Perhaps some of these type bar chairs are not as tall our there but I found all the other reviews to be correct on these counts. As far as looks - it would be better if these could update the shade of gray or other colors offered to something more current and that check really does look extremely industrial and outdated. It's such a potentially great idea but not quite nice enough for everyone to really want this instead of a new chair.
