These bright red candle holders are very versatile. In the first place, the shade of red is a clear bright cherry red. There are lots of shades of red that are used in décor and not all of them will go with just about everything. These candle holders are a clear, bright, cherry red. This color is great for Christmas or Valentine’s, or really any time of year.So many people have decorated with shades of gray in recent years and this red will look great in those homes. I prefer things to be more colorful and have some accent pieces in a cranberry wine shade, that also look great with these candle holders.The shape of these candle holders allows you to use taper candlesticks or tealights and I have taken pictures with both to show how they will look. Additionally, the candle holders are designed in a way so that you can stack them to different heights. I took a couple of pictures showing stacks of two and three. I would probably only use flameless candles if I was stacking the holders.Just a quick addition, it would have helped the taper candles to stand straight if I had some clay. I didn’t count down for that since I would probably use that anyway.

What a pretty set of 6 individual candleholders. I love the simple cylindrical, fluted design, which gives them a rather homey, farmhouse style, while avoiding the antique or rustic look entirely. Overall, their color is of a medium to dark brown, but when placed in a bright or sunny room, the lighter yellow amber undertones will show up as well. It makes these candleholders perfect to use (or display) during the fall season. I can't wait to use them on the Thanksgiving table this year, as space wise, they will not take up much room on the tabletop or buffet, but add a really nice touch to the overall look. These candleholders are made of thick pressed glass (not blown), allowing for the deep texture of the fluted areas to really stand out without becoming so fragile, that area might be prone to easily crack or break. The thickness of the glass. along with its clarity which is pristine, is clearly visible on their plain candle holder rims where any would clearly notice any bubbles or flaws (if there were any - and there are none). Of the six candleholders I received, on only one was I able to make out the join spot in the pressed glass, and that was not because the glass was thinner in an area, but actually because it was a bit thicker.. What makes this set of six candleholders unique though is their versatility. They were designed to be used with either tea light candles or standard taper candles, simply by turning them over to expose the correct size opening for the candle to be placed into. Each candle holder is also easily stackable, one on top of the other, so you can change their overall height, but you give up the use of one candleholder for every one you stack. While technically, you could make one tall candlestick from the six pieces, I personally would not do that, since the candlesticks only rest upon the one below it (rather than securely screwing together), so do slide around a bit if touched while stacked. They do look great stacked, two or three high however. Also, if turning them so the smaller sized taper side of the candlestick is serving as the base on which everything stacked above is resting upon, it feels a bit less secure overall than if it were the larger diameter tea light sized base on the bottom. One thing to note with these candle holders when it comes to using tapers, the taper holder itself probably has a larger opening to hold your candle than your taper would ever need. I have not found a taper brand that fits properly in this candle holder yet. They all need some additional help to keep the taper standing upright and straight. Thus you will likely need to also invest in (if you do not already have on hand) either candle stick um, foil saran or wax paper, or some other kind of additional candle gripping method first if you are hoping to actually burn your tapers safely in these candlesticks. You could alternatively melt enough wax into the base of the candlestick to stick your taper into to try and secure it, but then you would have to clean it out later, which is more work than any of the other methods. I’m really pleased with both the quality and quantity of these amber candle holders. They add a warm, cozy glow that’s perfect for creating a hygge atmosphere during winter nights. I was pleasantly surprised by their versatility, too—when flipped upside down, they can hold small items like jewelry or, in my case, matchsticks. Great multi-purpose addition to any home. I also like that they can be used for tea lights or candlesticks. Highly recommend if you're looking for something functional yet stylish.
