Great laptop with lack of ports and fixed RAM.
During normal usage with power modes set to "Best power efficiency" or "Balanced" and the fan on "Quiet" or "Balanced," the laptop remains extremely quiet. Thanks to its advanced lithography-based chip, energy consumption is remarkably low, with minimal performance impact from reduced voltage. Even after gaming, temperatures remain exceptionally low.The main drawbacks are the limited port selection and soldered RAM. However, as long as you manage your workload efficiently—avoiding excessive multitasking during intensive tasks—performance remains stable. The lack of ports can be mitigated with a USB dock featuring HDMI and RJ45 Ethernet.Overall, this laptop is a solid choice if the price aligns with your budget.

Good price to performance ratio if found on sale, mediocre battery life.
Pros-Great cpu, gpu power performance to price ratio if on sale within the 799$ range or less.-Chassis feels sturdy and high quality.Cons-Intel chips still provide mediocre battery life compared to AMD equipped laptops, from full charge to almost 0 can net around 5 hours of standard web browsing/video streaming @ 30% screen brightness eco mode.-Memory is not upgradable-Slightly heavier and bulky compared to competing 14inch gaming laptops. razer, asus rog g14I recommend to spend a little more if you can find Asus Rog g14 2023 model is sometimes goes on sale for around 1000$ through best buy. Will provide much better battery life around 8 hours, smaller and lighter profile, memory is upgradable, better screen and rtx 4060...just better value overall.

Great laptop
Works very smoothly. It can run most games at high or ultra graphics without getting up too much which is always a huge plus for laptops

Beware of seller
The media could not be loaded. ** Returned bad computer but seller didn't issue a full refund-Don't buy **I recently purchased the Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 with an RTX 4060 GPU and 16GB of soldered RAM for just under $1100 to replace my aging 2018 Asus Rog FX504. My priorities were a decent battery life (7–8 hours) for app development and casual gaming—and while the machine delivers in some areas, it falls short in others. The Good• Strong performance – Handles compiling, schoolwork, and most games well.• Nice screen & keyboard – Comfortable typing experience and good display quality.• MUX switch support – Allows switching to integrated graphics for battery savings. The Bad1. Battery Life Disappointment – Out-of-the-box, it barely reaches 3 hours under normal use. Even after adjusting settings (lowering brightness, optimizing power consumption, and enabling eco mode), I could only push it to 6–8 hours under very light use—far from the advertised performance.2. Crackling Speakers – Audio crackles and pops, particularly on YouTube videos. No fixes so far.3. Awful Webcam – Somehow worse than my 2018 laptop’s camera. A blurry, grainy mess.4. RAM Limitation – 16GB is soldered and non-upgradable, with usage consistently at 80–90%, limiting long-term performance. This wasn't a deal breaker when I was looking at it, but after 3 weeks of use, it is not optimized well.Final VerdictOverall, while the Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 had the potential to be great in terms of performance and build quality, it was undermined by terrible componets: the underwhelming battery, problematic speakers, and terrible camera have lead me to returning it—especially when similar models with better features are available for just a bit more money.

Epic
Actually got this for school. Quite powerful, but everything I needed to do has an overall quality feel to it and I'm just glad to have this laptop.

Great laptop for the price
Battery life could be better, no where near the amount they say you would get. Either than that it's a great laptop for the price. This is my second laptop I've owned in 20 years, even that laptop back then the battery didn't last that long either.

Great value especially on sale
Had this laptop a little over a week and it's impressive how small and portable it is while keeping temp on certain more demanding games, you can't go wrong on this if you find it on sale
