Bug Bites Betta Fish Food, 1.05 Oz.

My Betta eats this stuff up like candy. Im new to Bettas, so I have been feeding him while getting his attention at the same time. The quality seems great, better than bloodworms. Gumpert eats this stuff up with ease and hope he remains healthy! I have tried bloodworms, fancy guppy, new life spectrum betta, and he prefers this over anything. Good stuff!

This food is my go to. Bite sized for small fish and keeps them happy. Prevents too much gulping of air at top of tank. Sinking food

Very palatable to my betta fish. Easy to feed to them. They hit it hard and demand more, so they must love the taste. I'm very pleased with the quality of ingredients, and have been happy with fluval products overall.

My picky betta loves this stuff. The ingredients are great. Some float and the bigger pieces sink but he dives right for them. Even the bigger pieces are still easy for him to eat unlike other brands of pellets (he would spit them out because they were too big). None go to waste. The lid is nice as it only allows a small amount to come out per shake, perfect amount per feeding. My guys color seems to have brightened to a beautiful red from a more dull red. I have one betta and some rasbora (separate tanks) and I feed them all this food. This bottle might last forever. Great price for plenty of food! I use Fluval Bug Bites for all of my fish in all of my tanks now.

This claims to be slow sinking, but these fall pretty fast and most as soon as they hit the water. I can’t just sprinkle them and go, because they sink and the fish won’t eat it off the bottom. That said, she likes these. They are smaller granulated for our smaller sized fish. She won’t touch the other beta food we bought.

A great daily diet! Although it fulfills all dietary needs, you still need to include another food in their diets to prevent digestive issues. Great options to feed with this is brine shrimp or blood worms! It’s also best to fast at least one day of the week (unless you have a younger betta). You can use other options as well, just avoid anything with wheat! 🙂

Like the title says, my betta that I have had for almost 9 months randomly became picky one day and stopped touching his food that he’s been eating consistently since I got him. I was extremely concerned that his time with me was coming to an abrupt end. I did endless water tests, bacterial infection inspections, and all of the other not-so-fun duties of a responsible fish owner to make sure that he was comfortable. As a last resort, I started searching for popular betta foods and I ordered a couple of different popular ones from amazon to try. This one is his absolute FAVORITE! It has a handy spout on the top so you don’t over feed your fish. It dispenses a very small amount of food, which is nice to help avoid getting your tank unnecessarily dirty. Like someone else said, the food does sink very fast, so I always try to make sure that I dispense the food in front of him in a way that he can swim to eat it and not accidentally sink the food. On his first feeding, I kept giving him more until he finally decided to swim away indicating that he was full. I was so relieved to finally see him eat an entire meal!! TLDR: Come to find out, this dude woke up one day and just decided to become a picky eater (lol). If your betta has stopped eating, I would absolutely try this food first.

I just got a betta fish the week before last. I’ve had bettas in the past and they’ve always eaten the pellets, no problem. But this guy is picky. I tried crumbling the pellets into smaller pieces, and I tried soaking them in tank water before giving them to him. Nothing worked. Finally I joined an online betta forum, and people there suggested Fluval Bug Bites. And he is now eating! I’m so relieved. I like the packaging, too. So easy to use. You can easily squeeze out just a couple directly into the water from the squeeze bottle. I’m looking forward to my betta becoming healthier and showing brighter colors, with eating healthy food. I never realized when I had bettas before that they are carnivorous and need a variety of foods that are high in protein. He seems very content and happy now. And I’m relieved he’s eating! And what a great deal- this bottle is going to probably last me a year, with him only eating a few pellets twice a day.

My betta looks healthy. The pellet is not slow sinking, It's actually very fast sinking. When I add more than 2 to 3 pellets at the same time, atleast one pellet sinks too quickly and gets under the gravel and my betta never finds it.

Product is good be its almost double the actual price not expected from amazon
