Fun game with almost no learning curve
This is a great game for a relaxed game night - there's almost no learning curve, and there are enough silly rules (especially once you amass some handwritten ones after a few play-throughs) for lots of laughs. Easy to play with friends or family when you aren't in the mood to learn a lot of rules before starting a game

Soooo Fun!!!
This game is so much fun! Its like uno and flux mixed together! We have played this game multiple times with multiple friends who have all loved it as well! And it now has many customized rules which are awesome! I love how personalized this game is!This was definitely an impulse buy. I had never heard of it before it popped up on here and I thought it sounded fun! I am so glad I got it, it was definitely worth every penny!! Highly recommend this game to everyone who enjoys a good game night!

Fun Quick portable card game
Our family had fun with this portable and quick card game. It is similar to UNO, one of our favorites. Having the option to create our own cards made the playing experience more personal and exciting.

Great Uni type game, when you want more than just Uni.
This is a great step up from Uno. It uses the same concept, but adds a few more, randomly decided rules. What’s best about this is that you get to design your own cards or rules. That means you can develop the game the way you want it to go. Want to make it silly, go ahead. Want to make it more strategic , make it so.

Easy to pick up
A good family game night gift. Winners get to make up their own card, which my 10 year old niece loved. She's a fan of Uno, so adding extra silly rules to the concept was a solid hit.

Kids' version of Fluxx
What if Skip-Bo, Uno, and Fluxx got together and had a baby game? Blank is it! All the simplicity of Skip-Bo, the interactivity of Uno and the random changes of Fluxx are rolled into this fast-paced card game. It is listed as 6+ yrs old, 2-6 players, 10 minutes. My 7-year old plays just fine, and my 4 year old can play with help. Games take 15-20 minutes with kids, though. The selling feature of Blank is that it includes lots of blank (haha) game cards with the element of allowing the person who wins a game to design their own game card and put it into regular play. This sounds cool, but is difficult in practice, as inventing new rules and mechanics on the fly that are not pointless or overpowered is tough. My comparison with Fluxx is the mechanic of the "rule" cards. There are always 3 "rule" cards drawn from a deck of 14 (initially) that add variety and change the flow of the game. The "rule" cards can end up changing themselves, hence Fluxx.Note - every one of my games ended with someone playing (and me singing) the card "Final Countdown", which causes the game to end after a 2 minute timer runs down. Hooray.

A game for the general public
Players: 2-6Age: 6+Duration: 10 minutes======================In my opinion, this is not a "gamer's" game. Meaning, that it is intended mostly for the mass-market public that are maybe less aware of the thousands of board-/card-game hobby selections out there. If you are a fan of Uno and the like, this could be right up your alley.====================GOAL is similar to Uno and like games; in which players are trying to empty their hands by matching color or number. What makes this different, is once you win...then you get to make up a card!In other words, no deck and no game is ever 100% the same as the previous play, since new cards are "created" at the end of each play. You match a number or color for the current card that is showing. If you cannot play a card then you must draw a card. There are a few "special power" cards that came with the game or ones previous game winners have created themselves. There are some simple illustrations (no specific artwork style; e.g. 80's or sci-fi), so the artwork isn't fantastic, but functional. There are some Cadoo like cards that make you do silly things like put your hand to your nose or something silly like that...specifically, if someone made such a card and added it to the deck. There are some suggestions to help you along in creating your own cards...especially if you feel stuck and cannot think of anything. I personally would create sci-fi/fantasy and/or movie related cards, since that is what I know and like. There are elements of Fluxx in here, in that the "rules" can change during play. Which for some players this may not be a good thing as a person's strategy may get messed up with the changing rules. You can make your own rules to fill the deck faster than waiting for a winner. Whatever it takes to keep your interest.Super easy to learn. It is a mishmash of some social party game elements, push your luck, trick taking, etc. Thus even though the box says, "Make it Your game!", you will still have some elements of these other mechanics mixed in there...but...you lean it in a particular direction.OVERALL:I prefer Uno, since out-of-the-box it feels like it is more of a game than this one. But the quicker you fill out the cards, the more "complete" this will be.I personally despise games that make me have to stand on one leg or act something out. I cannot exactly remove these components from this game, because you need the number cards in order to keep a full set of numbers. We are a gamer family (owned over 300 hobby games in last 2-years), so this wasn't for us.But, my parents and some friends are not hobby gamers like us. They all really like Uno, dominoes, and other classic trick-taking card games and thus could and would play this one.Smaller kids may want more than one copy of this to make up silly, funny cards of different flavors and thus have different decks.
