She’s in kindergarten but we used it as a fun way for her to “earn” screen time by completing pages, and it worked surprisingly well. The problems were challenging enough to keep her engaged and thinking, but not so difficult that she got frustrated or discouraged. I really liked the balance of the workbook. It gave her a confidence boost because she could work independently and feel successful while still getting good math practice in. The pages were easy to follow, and the variety of problems kept it from feeling repetitive or boring. Overall, this turned into a great learning tool in our house and made math practice feel more like a reward than a chore. Definitely recommend if you want a low-stress way to keep kids practicing math skills while building confidence. Review: Quality math workbook. - I really like how this workbook is set up. It builds on concepts and allows for practice in each concept before moving on. It will also review past concepts. I love it

I have been very pleased
I love these workbooks for our elementary age, homeschooled son. We have used these workbooks for reading and for math now and I love that they are a great supplemental resource or they can very much guide the curriculum too. I feel like my son enjoyed them, the work was sensible, straightforward, simple directions, simply written questions so my son could read some as well. Overall just a really excellent resource for any student regardless of learning location.

Extra Homework
I get these books for my kids and it helps reinforce what they are learning. Really nice to get them repetition on the basics and it’s not common core so it’s really easy for me to teach from. Only reason to remove a star is that I have found mistakes in the answer keys a few times.

Great for a 5 y/o or Kindergartner
My 5 y/o is good at math and breezing through this workbook. We are homeschoolers and if she were in school she would be in Kindergarten. But, this is first grade level math. In fact, we skipped ahead a few chapters because she was getting bored at how easy it was.

Fan of Spectrum Books!
Purchased 2 of these for my kids to work on during non screen times. I like that the pages are colourful, yet muted colours (not bright/blinding). It’s about the size of a regular 8x11 sheet. Size of print is great for young children!
