5000 Sq Ft 52 Pint Compressor Dehumidifier for Basement and Home

So far this dehumidifier has been great. It works well and has really helped keep the space feeling more comfortable and less humid, especially in larger rooms. I also like that it actually looks nice and blends in with my house instead of being an eyesore like some appliances. The noise level is a steady hum..it might bother some people, but to me it’s not too loud or distracting at all. It actually reminds me of my grandma’s old fridge running in the background whenever I used to sleep over. Kind of a comforting, familiar sound that I didn’t expect from a dehumidifier. Overall, it’s been reliable, quiet enough for daily use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m really happy with it so far. Easy to use!

This dehumidifier works great! It’s compact and doesn’t take up much space, but works efficiently to dry up damp spaces and remove humidity from your home. It was one of the best prices I could find, and the small size makes it easy to move to different parts of your home!

We have been thrilled with our Pluscent Dehumidifier. It is small and compact, so we were able to put it up in our attic, and it works great! We really feel like it is the perfect size and power for the attic space, and it will help us get through a very humid summer! It has a good-sized water collector and also comes with a hose if you are able to drain it. We noticed a difference in the humidity of the attic within a day.

The dehumidifier is compact and quiet. It also pulls out a lot of water from the air. Works great. My big complaint is the tube connection. There isn’t enough room to put a longer and more sturdy discharge tube. If you put a tube on, you can’t put the bucket back in. Without the bucket, the unit doesn’t run. Or at least it wouldn’t work for me. If you need a discharge tube longer than 3 feet, suggest you look at a different product Update: They reached out to see what they could do help. I've never had a company reach out to make it right. Very proactive. I appreciate that. So, I'll add a star just for that!

I’m extremely impressed with the customer service from Pluscent especially Irene. When I had an issue with my dehumidifier, Itene responded immediately and took care of the problem without any hassle. She was professional, helpful, and genuinely committed to making sure I was satisfied. It’s refreshing to experience a company that truly stands behind its product and values its customers. The quick response and excellent service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Pluscent—not only for their product, but especially for their outstanding customer service!

This will be a long review that I know most will not take the time to read in its entirety, so I am writing this to get things off my chest & finally move on from this terrible experience. When I first purchased this dehumidifier back in late June, I gave the purchase 3 stars & did what I considered to be an honest review of the product - which was that it was much louder than I expected, but more importantly I didn't believe it was really a 1500 sq ft dehumidifer, but more capable of handling a single room. At that point, I was ready to just move on, not in love with this purchase but not hating it either. To my surprise, I was contacted by Pluscent support (which I must say that their support is much better than the actual product they are supporting). They offered to send a larger dehumidifier to see if it would perform more to my expectations. So, I deleted the review to see how the process worked out. Upon receiving the larger dehumidifier, it worked GREAT (for less than 2 months before it died). This is where the wheels kind of fell off & the entire experience went from bad to worse. I had completed the 3 year warranty process, and contacted Support to see what steps to take. Support responded promptly (within a day or so), as has been my experience. They had me do a couple "tests" to send them data, and responded back that the dehumidifier was defective (their words, not mine). Ok, these things can happen, I wasn't upset yet.... At this point, they proceed to tell me that unfortunately they are out of inventory and cannot send a replacement, so the only option is to issue a refund (of the smaller dehumidifier price, rather than the larger dehumidifier price that was defective & I received to address my previous issues). I guess that's fine (I mean why would I want a replacement that could also be defective, right?), but I questioned their "out of inventory" comment because, as I look on Amazon, to this very day, it continues to be advertised for immediate delivery. So, either they are incorrect about it being out of inventory or they are misleading future purchasers of their products as to when they may eventually receive their purchase. Either way, a refund was processed fairly quickly, but partially as an actual refund and partially as an Amazon credit - which I thought was odd. At this point, I am ready to just move on from this company. For all I know, this may be a completely isolated occurrence & every other item they sell may perform flawlessly. This is just my experience with them.

What i like about this humidifier is its small size. I purchased it for a basement closet. You can set the desired humidity level and it will come on and off to maintain that humidity level. And it’s extremely quiet too 👏👏

Works fast but tank is a bit too small. Has to be emptied several times a day. It does come with a drain hose.
