i did not see a truss rod on the head stock. does it have one, and if so where? can the neck be adjusted ?

Yes neck can be adjusted, truss rod screw is on the neck side of the hole. It gets hard to adjust with the strings on but can be done

is this a small or medium size guitar ?

Its a full size guitar, the body is a little thinner and smaller because of the cutout but close to the size of your standard dreadnought guitar

How good is this guitar sound unplugged ?

Sounds very good unplugged my son plays his that way all the time! It’s a very nice guitar!
