This Is The One - So, Just Get It!
Great quality, Great color, Great connection. This is the one to get! If you're still reading this, you should already have it in your cart. I modified a blue Kramer Baretta with all black hardware. This was the last item needed for that. Would order again.

Hell yeah
Works great. Was a tiny bit shorter than then stock output jack but still fit.(Installed in Warwick Corvette $$ 5 string.)

Better quality than the ones that come in many guitars
This was needed to replace a very low quality version of something similar. This works much better. HINT: if you are not using the stereo connection, make them ground and you will get a better ground connection. In my case I connected all the pins except the 'hot' tip connector to ground.

Good solid connector.
Nice finish, complete set of hardware included, easy to solder.NOTE, this connector installs from the outside and the nut goes on the inside. The ferrule on the outside does not unscrew.

There is a ground switch pin
Seems to be high quality so far. Nut was not as good as the one that was in my bass so I didn't end up using it. As others have said DO NOT bend the tabs. They're a hardened steel that snaps easily. It does make it a little tough to solder, but just put it in a little loose so you can rotate it to get a good solder angle.

Good product. Check other reviews for wiring.
Product was what was shown. The lock nut seemed a little flimsy but I just used the heavier duty brass one off the old jack. The tension when putting a cable in is high. The cable is in there and requires force putting in and pulling out. But shipping was quick and it works.

Nice design,. Gasket too big.
The design is nice.I found the tabs to be a bit brittle metal and trying to bend pins I did not need they just snapped clean off.May contribute to fatigue failure in the future. The rubber gasket/o-ring was much larger diameter than the flange and the guitar hole did not accomodate that. I had to reuse the old o-ring and find an alternate on a second one which ended up being a washer only.Good feel on cord insertion and retention of the cord feels positive.Great replacement for some worn out parts.

Frustrating experience
mysteriously, there is no wiring diagram, and the images / explanation is not sufficiently clear to make installation easy. The four posts are too close together, and one broke as soon as I tried to clip a wire on. Do not recommend this product.

Fits IBANEZ J Custom very well
I just installed this in an IBANEZ J custom fits perfectly but I have no idea of the quality yet or how long it will last because we all know barrel flush mouht jacks break easy and some break so quickly there not worth buying. But I do not know yet if this will last long enough to be a good product.

Great 1/4 inch Stero sockets
Good quality item for stereo headphones or effects pedal (Do not buy if you need to replace a guitar socket as they are mono)

Very, very poor quality, with unusual pinouts. Avoid.
By far the most shoddily made socket I have ever fitted (or in this case, attempted to fit).First of all, it doesn't seem to grip the plug well - and more force than usual is needed to insert it. You should feel the tip lock into the spring - not in this case. On the connection side, the tags are extremely fragile and snap off if you attempt to bend them out, as is sometimes necessary. The pin-outs are very odd, and bear no relation to any other socket of this type. Bear this in mind if you are replacing a socket like for like. Getting this wrong is especially important if you have actives for which the ring acts as a switch. Take a stereo jack plug and a multimeter and trace out tip, ring, shield to be certain. A short here could fry your circuit and make for an expensive repair. .

Dose not come with pin schematic.
I replaced my original 1/4" jack on my Spector which had become intermittent.Installation was a breeze after testing the contact points with an ohm meter.
